Ehire Adrianza went 3-for-4 and belted his first career grand slam in the Twins' comeback win over the Tigers on Tuesday.
Adrianza turned a 4-1 deficit into a 5-4 Minnesota lead when he deposited a Warwick Saupold offering just over the right-center field wall with two outs in the seventh inning. The infielder also added a couple singles, scored two runs and stole a base. Adrianza has gotten hot at the plate over the last week, but he's been a weak-hitting utility infielder his entire career and he'll no doubt go back to being just that again soon. Jun 12 - 10:47 PM

Ehire Adrianza went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.

He ripped a double to left field in the second inning that plated Robbie Grossman with the game's first run. He doubled again in the fourth and scored on a Ryan LaMarre single. The utilityman is getting a good amount of playing time this year, slashing .233/.290/.350 with one homer and eight RBI in 43 games. He is not a good fantasy option even in AL-only leagues.

Ehire Adrianza went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Royals on Wednesday.

He drove in Max Kepler with a double in the fourth inning, then popped a solo shot off reliever Burch Smith in the sixth. It was the part-time utilityman's first homer of the season and just the fifth of his six-year career. He has a .234 batting average with seven RBI and 13 runs in 119 plate appearances.

Ehire Adrianza had a nice night at the dish in Tuesday's victory over the Tigers, going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and two RBI.

Adrianza also drew a walk in the game, reaching base safely in all three of his plate appearances. He got the Twins on the board with an RBI double in the fifth inning, then tacked on another run-scoring double that ignited a three-run rally in the seventh. The utilityman is hitting just .227/.296/.307 with five RBI on the season and remains irrelevant from a fantasy perspective.
May 23 - 12:03 AM

Ehire Adrianza is dealing with a minor left calf strain.

That the Twins are referring to it as minor suggests they don't think it will be something that affects his Opening Day status. Adrianza is competing for a utility infielder job.

Twins and INF Ehire Adrianza avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1 million contract.

It's his first year of arbitration eligibility. Adrianza is a career .236/.304/.338 hitter over parts of five seasons in the majors but boasts a slick glove.
Jan 12 - 11:02 AM

Ehire Adrianza went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Astros.

Adrianza took Mike Fiers deep for a solo dinger in the third inning. That homer was his first of the season. In 29 games, the infielder is hitting .290/.333/.403. An abdominal strain cost him several weeks of the campaign, but he has had no issues on the health front since being activated from the disabled list on July 3.

Twins placed INF Ehire Adrianza on the disabled list with an abdominal injury.

He must have suffered the injury in Wednesday's game against the White Sox. Adrianza has played sparingly this year, batting .259 over 54 at-bats as a utility player. The Twins also demoted Nik Turley on Thursday. They're expected to call up two pitchers on Friday.
