Kyle Seager went 2-for-2 in a 2-0 win over the Dodgers on Sunday in the Cactus League.
Seager, 30, was facing his brother Corey for the first time ever. Advantage Kyle in this one, as Corey went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. It's the second multi-hit game of the spring for Seager, who went 2-for-2 against the Padres on Friday. He's coming off a season where he battled consistency issues, but was still able to hit 27 homers and drive in 88. Assuming more consistent play in 2018, he should once again rank among the best hot corners in fantasy. Feb 25 - 5:57 PM

Kyle Seager went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI in a Cactus League win over the Padres on Friday.

He laced an RBI double off starter Brett Kennedy in the first inning. The 30-year-old is solidly entrenched as the Mariners' starting third baseman after registering a .249 batting average with 27 home runs and 88 RBI a year ago.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-4 and homered Friday in a losing cause against the Angels.

Seager had gone nine straight games without driving in a run before delivering the solo homer off Tyler Skaggs tonight. It was his 26th homer of the year. He's been a disappointment, for sure, but it's not like he's been a zero.

Kyle Seager is getting the night off Tuesday.

Gordon Beckham will start at third base and bat eighth versus Athletics right-hander Daniel Mengden. This looks to be a routine breather for Seager.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in a win over the Rangers on Thursday.

Seager hit a two-run jack off Rangers starter Andrew Cashner in the second inning, his 25th homer of the year. He's now got four consecutive years with at least 25 homers. Seager's good night also extended a modest 11-game hitting streak, during which he's hit six of those homers. The streaky 29-year-old is batting .257/.327/.460 with 82 RBI and 67 runs scored in 140 games overall this year.

Kyle Seager crushed his 21st home run, a solo shot off of Justin Verlander, in Tuesday's victory against the Astros.

Seager is eating up Houston pitching, homering in each of the first two games of the set. It's the first time he has home runs in consecutive outings since he has a three-game home run streak from July 15-17 in Chicago and Houston.

Kyle Seager drove in both Mariners runs with a homer and a single Monday against the Astros.

It looked like it was finally coming together for Seager in the four weeks after the All-Star break, but he's been relatively quiet since returning from an illness that cost him a few games three weeks ago. The homer tonight was just his second during that stretch. He's up to 20 homers and 71 RBI for the year, but he's still been a disappointment.

Kyle Seager went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored while powering his club to a 9-6 win over the Braves on Wednesday.

His three-run bomb in the eighth-inning proved to be the game's decisive factor. He drove in another run with an infield single earlier in the game. The veteran third baseman has a .259 batting average with 19 home runs and 67 RBI in 121 games. His performance has dropped off some compared to last year's 30-homer campaign but he is still one of the better fantasy third basemen around.

Kyle Seager is absent from the Mariners' lineup Sunday.

Seager played the last two days after returning from a stomach bug, but he'll get some rest for this one. Taylor Motter is at third base. Yonder Alonso and Mike Zunino are also sitting out, as the M's have Danny Valencia at first base and Carlos Ruiz at catcher.

Kyle Seager (illness) is back in the Mariners' lineup Friday.

Seager missed a couple starts with a stomach virus and said he lost over 10 pounds. He's evidently feeling better, though, and is ready to give it a go against Austin Pruitt and the Rays.

Kyle Seager (illness) is out of the Mariners' lineup again on Wednesday.

Seager has a stomach virus and will miss his second consecutive game. Danny Valencia is starting at third base and batting sixth Wednesday afternoon against the Orioles and right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez.

Kyle Seager is out Tuesday against the Orioles due to a stomach virus.

Consider him day-to-day. Danny Espinosa is starting at third base and batting eighth Tuesday versus Orioles left-hander Wade Miley.

Kyle Seager is not in the Mariners' starting lineup Tuesday night against the Orioles.

It's a planned breather for the left-handed-hitting third baseman. Danny Espinosa will handle the hot corner and bat eighth versus O's southpaw Wade Miley.

Kyle Seager swatted his 18th home run, a solo shot off J.C. Ramirez of the Angels, and he added a single with two RBI in Saturday's game.

Seager already has four home runs in August, equaling his power production from the month of July. He has also managed seven RBI over the past nine outings. Seager has a rather marginal batting average, but he has collected 28 doubles, a triple and 18 home runs, so fantasy owners aren't complaining too vehemently about the BA.
Sun, Aug 13, 2017 03:33:00 AM

Kyle Seager went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's win over the A's.

Seager jumped the Mariners to a 3-0 lead with his three-run big fly off Jharel Cotton in the first inning. He has now launched 17 long balls on the season and has driven in an even 60 runs across 418 at-bats. In addition, Seager is working to a .258/.331/.452 triple-slash for the year. The third baseman has gone yard in three of his last seven games.
