His .859 OPS was 71 points higehr than his previous career-high. He’s a rock-solid option at third base in mixed leagues. Mar 24 - 7:00 PM

Kyle Seager went 1-for-2 with an RBI triple and a walk in Saturday's Cactus League win over the Giants.

Seager drove in Orlando Calixte when he tripled in the sixth inning. He is as rock solid of an entity as there is on the fantasy landscape, having cracked 20 or more homers each of the past five seasons. During the 2016 campaign, Seager slashed .278/.359/.499 with 30 homers and 99 RBI over the course of 597 at-bats.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk in Wednesday's Cactus League loss to the Indians.

The double was Seager's second two-bagger of the spring. This past season was his most productive overall campaign in the majors. The 29-year-old third baseman posted a .278/.359/.499 triple-slash while bopping a career-best 30 home runs and driving in a career-best 99 runs across 597 at-bats. He has hit at least 20 homers in each of the past five seasons. For fantasy purposes, Seager's consistency makes him an immensely safe pick in both mixed-league and AL-only formats.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the Mariners' 12-4 rout of the Astros on Wednesday.

Seattle's offense managed 15 hits and seven walks to down the 'Stros and stay alive in the American League Wild Card race. Seager singled in the Mariners' three-run first inning and then produced the final scoring of the game with a three-run shot off Pat Neshek in the top of the eighth. The star third baseman is slashing .281/.362/.506 with 30 home runs and 99 RBI in 154 games this season.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBI as the Mariners clobbered the Athletics 14-3 on Saturday.

Seager plated Nelson Cruz with a single in the first inning then tacked on a solo shot in the seventh to increase the Mariners advantage to 9-0. He's in the midst of the best offensive season of his career, slashing .294/.374/.531 with 28 homers and 92 RBI.

Kyle Seager went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Rangers.

Seager styled a two-run homer in the seventh inning to give the M's a bit of breathing room in what had been a 4-3 contest. The homer was his 27th of the season and pushed him past his 2015 total to set a new career high. In addition, Seager is hitting .296/.376/.530 over 511 at-bats.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Seager launched a two-run home run to right to knot the proceedings at 4-4 in the third inning, but the Rangers would take the lead for good in the fifth inning. Despite several offensive rallies, the home squad couldn't quite keep pace, falling by a score of 10-7. For his part, Seager is now slashing .292/.372/.524 with 26 homers and 88 RBI over 504 at-bats. With Tuesday's home run, he matched his season total from 2015. A 30-homer campaign is not out of the question at this point.

Kyle Seager went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Seager had a two-run single that started a four-run top of the fifth inning, and he promptly stole second base, just his second steal of the year. He's been much more adept at driving in runs, as he's now got 85 RBI to go with 74 runs scored and 24 home runs. The third baseman is batting a healthy .288/.365/.513 in 128 games overall.

Kyle Seager (foot) remained out of the Mariners' lineup Friday.

It's the third straight game he's missed after he fouled a ball off his foot on Tuesday. The good news is that Seager will be available off the bench and is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday. Consider him day-to-day. Shawn O'Malley is at third base.

Kyle Seager (foot) is not in the Mariners' lineup Thursday against the White Sox.

Seager is still out with a bruised foot he suffered Tuesday against the Yankees. Manager Scott Servais is hoping to have Seager back in the lineup on Friday but admitted it's 50-50. Utility man Shawn O'Malley will handle the hot corner in his absence on Thursday.

Kyle Seager will be held out Wednesday after fouling a ball off his foot on Tuesday night.

It doesn't sound like anything serious, but the Mariners have a day game against the Yankees and don't want to risk making the matter worse. Seager went 0-for-3 on Tuesday versus New York but still owns a cool .286/.364/.515 batting line with 24 home runs and 83 RBI in 124 games this season for Seattle.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk in the Mariners' 7-5 defeat of the Yankees on Monday.

Seager's .884 OPS is about 100 points better than he's ever done before, and he's two away from matching his career high in homers. It's too bad his brother is getting all of the attention in the family; both have been among the game's top 20 or so position players this year.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and four RBI on Sunday, leading the Mariners to an 8-4 victory over the Athletics in Oakland.

Seager gave the Mariners a 2-1 lead with an RBI double in the second inning, then piled on with a bases-clearing double to increase their advantage to 7-1 in the sixth. He is having a terrific season at the dish, slashing .284/.359/.515 with 22 homers and 77 RBI.

Kyle Seager crushed a three-run home run in the eighth inning of Tuesday's 6-5, 15-inning win over the Tigers.

Seager notched a dramatic, game-tying three-run shot off Justin Wilson with two outs in the eighth inning to unwittingly set it on its marathon course. That might have been forgotten in short order after Victor Martinez rocked a go-ahead solo homer in the top of the 15th, but Seager was game to play hero again, picking up yet another game-tying hit -- this one an RBI single -- off Francisco Rodriguez in the bottom of the 15th. The M's would secure the win on a Mike Zunino sacrifice fly moments later. For his part, Seager is slashing a strong .284/.361/.512 with 29 doubles, 21 homers and 72 RBI over 422 at-bats.
