Berry hasn't played since last month while dealing with patellar tendinitis in his left knee. The injury appears to be behind him at this point and is not expected to impact his status for Opening Day.

An MRI taken Wednesday on Quintin Berry's left knee confirmed the original diagnosis of patellar tendinitis.

There is no structural damage, so the news is good. Berry will sit out for a few more days but should be back in Grapefruit League games at some point in early March.
