No word yet on the corresponding roster move. Del Rosario, 26, has a 7.80 ERA and 8/7 K/BB ratio over 15 innings at the big league level this season and will serve as bullpen depth.

Enerio Del Rosario gave up three runs on four hits in one inning Monday against the Cubs.

His appearance came only hours after being called up to replace Jordan Lyles on the active roster. Del Rosario pitched around a leadoff single in the eighth inning but came undone in the ninth, surrendering three straight hits before getting pulled. He was unremarkable in 53 major league innings last season, posting a 4.58 ERA and 1.70 WHIP.

Enerio Del Rosario (shoulder) has moved his rehab assignment along to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Rosario made a quick rehab appearance in the Gulf Coast League on Wednesday. The 25-year-old reliever should be ready to rejoin the Astros' bullpen by early next week.

Del Rosario was placed on the 15-day disabled list in early August with a strained right shoulder. He'll likely spend over a week making minor league appearances.

Clemens was struck by a comebacker and appeared to dislocate the finger, but the Astros' trainer popped it back in place and he stayed in to face one more batter.
