He'll replace Dallas Keuchel on the active roster. Del Rosario made four relief appearances with the Astros in May and has a 4.45 ERA and 14/14 K/BB ratio over 32 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level this year. He'll pitch in middle relief.

Enerio Del Rosario gave up three runs on four hits in one inning Monday against the Cubs.

His appearance came only hours after being called up to replace Jordan Lyles on the active roster. Del Rosario pitched around a leadoff single in the eighth inning but came undone in the ninth, surrendering three straight hits before getting pulled. He was unremarkable in 53 major league innings last season, posting a 4.58 ERA and 1.70 WHIP.
