Valiquette missed the entire 2011 season with a back injury and was limited to 20 innings last year in the Brewers' minor league system. The 25-year-old left-hander will serve as organizational depth.

Mariners re-signed LHP Phillippe Valiquette to a minor league contract.

The deal includes a spring training invite. Valiquette sat out the entire 2011 season with a back injury. The 25-year-old left-hander has a 4.50 ERA over parts of six seasons in the minors, averaging 7.2 K/9 and 4.4 BB/9. He'll likely serve as organizational depth.

Reds released LHP Phillippe-Alexandre Valiquette.

Valiquette, 24, posted a 4.15 ERA over 54 games between Double- and Triple-A in 2010 before missing this season with a torn pectoral muscle. He was given the boot in order to clear room on the 40-man roster for Jared Burton.
