Dolis served up a walkoff two-run homer on Tuesday against the Yankees, lifting his Grapefruit League ERA up to 7.56 ERA. He was in Tigers camp on a minor league contract and never really had a shot at an Opening Day roster spot. The 27-year-old right-hander owns a 5.48 ERA in 44 1/3 career major league frames.

Part of some housecleaning on the Cubs' 40-man roster. Dolis appeared in five games with the big club this season prior to going down with a forearm strain in late May.

No word on the severity of the injury. Dolis has yet to allow a run in five appearances with the Cubs this season. Blake Parker has been called up from Triple-A Iowa in a corresponding move.
