Igarashi's previous stint with the Yanks only lasted a couple of days. He has a 2.61 ERA and 15/4 K/BB ratio at the Triple-A level since being claimed off waivers from the Blue Jays about a month ago. He'll pitch in middle relief.

Igarashi was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays over the weekend, just days after he was called up from the minors. The 33-year-old right-hander has pitched well in the minors this season, but owns an ugly 6.17 ERA in the big leagues. He'll serve as relief depth.

Igarashi owns a 5.74 career ERA and 1.71 WHIP, but he's been dominant at Las Vegas this season, posting a 1.29 ERA and 28/3 K/BB ratio over 21 innings. He'll work in middle relief.

Igarashi owns a 5.74 career ERA and 1.71 career WHIP and was knocked around for nine runs on 15 hits over 9 1/3 innings this spring, but the Jays evidently see something in him. He's expected to go to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Not a big surprise, as Igarashi was knocked around for nine runs on 15 hits over 9 1/3 innings this spring. It's not clear if he'll stay with the Pirates in the minors or try his luck elsewhere.

The agreement was reported last week, then finalized by the Pirates on Tuesday morning. Igarashi owns a rough 5.74 career ERA and 1.71 career WHIP, but he'll try to turn things around with Pittsburgh. The deal carries an invitation to major league spring training.
