Brian Omogrosso - R - White Sox

White Sox optioned RHP Brian Omogrosso to Triple-A Charlotte.

The 28-year-old did not allow an earned run in 12 1/3 innings this spring in the Cactus League. He should be brought up to the Chicago bullpen at some point in 2013.

Brian Omogrosso - R - White Sox

White Sox recalled RHP Brian Omogrosso from Triple-A Charlotte.

Omogrosso appeared in five games with the White Sox earlier this season and is returning to a 4.26 ERA. He'll be used as a low-leverage reliever, but posted an impressive 51/12 K/BB ratio in the minors.

He'll be making his major league debut when he first appears in a game. Omogrosso has posted a 4.09 ERA and 40/6 K/BB ratio over 33 innings for Charlotte this season.

"Everything is on track and I’ll be ready to go on Tuesday," Sale said, according to MLB.com's Scott Merkin. He was scratched from his turn this past Wednesday due to mild tendinitis in his left posterior shoulder but is feeling better after a few days of rest. 	4	Gavin Floyd D.L. Gavin Floyd underwent successful surgery Wednesday to repair the ulnar collateral ligament and flexor muscle in his right elbow. The surgeon told the White Sox that the operation "could not have gone better." However, since he needed two major areas operated on, the recovery is expected to be 14-19 months rather than the standard 12 months for Tommy John surgery. With that timetable, Floyd probably shouldn't be counted on for a whole lot in 2014. He'll be a free agent over the winter. May 8
