According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the trade market for Domingo Santana is "not as brisk as Milwaukee might have hoped."
Santana broke out with an .875 OPS, 30 home runs, 85 RBI, 15 stolen bases, and 88 runs scored in 151 games this past season for the Brewers, but his defensive ratings in the outfield are extremely poor and there was some hope in the Milwaukee front office that a sell-high move could be made this winter. It sounds like that won't happen. Santana, 25, is under the Brewers' control through 2021. Dec 12 - 6:18 PM

According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN, the Brewers are listening on outfielder Domingo Santana.

Crasnick notes that the Brewers "don't appear to be getting much traction" in trade talks. The price tag for Santana is understandably high, as the 25-year-old slugged 30 homers with an .875 OPS this past season and isn't even arbitration-eligible yet. Ideally, the Brewers would be able to swing him for an affordable impact starting pitcher.

Domingo Santana went 3-for-5 and slugged a two-run dinger in Saturday's loss to the Cardinals.

His bomb off starter Luke Weaver put his club ahead 6-0 in the third inning but they ended up blowing the game and their shot at a Wild Card berth. The 25-year-old outfielder and former Phillies and Astros prospect has burst upon the fantasy scene with a .278/.371/.505 triple slash with 30 home runs, 85 RBI, 88 runs and 15 stolen bases in 151 games this year.
Sep 30 - 9:01 PM

Domingo Santana blasted a three-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Reds.

Santana took advantage of a Deck McGuire hanging curveball in the first inning, ripping a no-doubter over the left field wall. The young outfielder is now one shy of 30 bombs in what has been a huge season that's seen Santana post a .276/.369/.502 batting line.
Sep 26 - 11:13 PM

Domingo Santana is not in the Brewers' starting lineup on Saturday.

It looks to be just a regular day of rest for the hard-hitting outfielder. He'll surely be back in the lineup on Sunday, a day that he has posted massive offensive numbers this season.
Sep 23 - 12:06 PM

Domingo Santana was everywhere for the Brewers on Thursday, going 2-for-5 with a double, a homer, a stolen base and two runs scored in a loss to the Cubs.

Santana's 28th homer of the season got the Brewers on the scoreboard in the fourth inning, and he almost single-handedly gave his team the lead in the eighth when he doubled and then stole third base to put himself 90 feet away from scoring. An Eric Thames RBI single that plated Santana gave the Brewers a late lead, but they couldn't hang on, and it was actually Santana who faltered in a big spot in the ninth, striking out with the bases loaded and one out. Failures have been few and far between for the 25-year-old in what's been a breakout year, as he's now hitting .281/.374/.505 with those 28 homers, 80 RBI, 84 runs scored and 14 steals overall.
Sep 22 - 1:44 AM

Domingo Santana went 2-for-4 and homered for the only run of the game in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.

Santana has nine hits and nine RBI in his last five games. All four of the Brewers' best hitters -- Santana, Travis Shaw, Ryan Braun and Eric Thames -- have OPSs between .860 and .880 right now.
Sep 19 - 10:49 PM

Domingo Santana is not in the Brewers' lineup Monday.

Santana missed a game recently with a tight right trapezius muscle, but this appears to be a regular day off. Orlando Arcia and Keon Broxton are also sitting out Monday, as the Brewers have Hernan Perez in right field, Eric Sogard at shortstop and Brett Phillips in center.
Sep 18 - 4:14 PM

Domingo Santana crushed a three-run homer against the Marlins on Friday.

His longball was the third one the Brewers hit in their eight-run, eighth-inning outburst that blew open what had been a tie game entering the frame. It was Santana's only hit in five chances (including three strikeouts) on the evening. The 25-year-old outfielder has a .275 batting average with 25 home runs and 74 RBI in 138 games. The big fellow has chipped in 13 steals as well.
Sep 16 - 1:11 AM

Domingo Santana (trapezius) is back in the Brewers' lineup Friday.

Santana had to be scratched from Wednesday's lineup with a tight right trapezius muscle, but he apparently made enough improvement following an off day. He's in right field and batting fifth versus Jose Urena and the Marlins.
Sep 15 - 4:46 PM

Domingo Santana (trapezius) has been scratched from the Brewers' lineup Wednesday versus the Pirates.

Santana was originally in the lineup, but tightness in his right trapezius will keep him out for at least one game. In his place, Eric Thames will play left field and Eric Sogard will start at second base.
Sep 13 - 5:48 PM

Domingo Santana went 3-for-4 with a couple RBI in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.

The Pirates elected to intentionally walk Travis Shaw with two outs in the bottom of the third inning to load the bases, and Santana made them pay with a two-run double. Santana has now driven in 71 runs on the season to go along with a nifty .276/.368/.482 batting line.
Sep 12 - 10:54 PM

Domingo Santana homered twice, drew two walks, and stole a base Sunday in the Brewers' 7-2 victory over the Nationals.

Santana jumped on Nats starter Edwin Jackson for a solo shot in the bottom of the second inning and then he tagged Jackson again for a two-run blast in the bottom of the fourth. The 25-year-old outfielder finished the game 2-for-2 with three RBI and three runs scored, and he's now slashing .277/.372/.491 with 24 homers, 69 RBI, 12 stolen bases, and 74 runs scored in 130 games this season.
Sep 3 - 5:12 PM

Domingo Santana went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored Wednesday in the Brewers' defeat of the Cardinals.

Santana singled and scored in Milwaukee's three-run second inning and then went deep off Carlos Martinez in the bottom of the sixth. The 25-year-old outfielder has strung together three straight multi-hit games, raising his season slash line to .276/.369/.478. He's sitting on 22 home runs, 66 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and 71 runs scored through 126 games.
Aug 30 - 5:10 PM

Domingo Santana homered for the Brewers' only hit Friday against the Dodgers.

Santana also worked two of the team's three walks. He has 62 of those this year to go along with a solid .272 average, giving him a strong .369 OBP. It's just too bad he's not a better defensive outfielder; he's giving away some of his offensive value with his glove.
