Jon Heyman of FanRag Reports reports that Keon Broxton "could be trade bait" for the Brewers this offseason.
Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel first suggested that Broxton might potentially be dealt over the winter. Broxton was a 20/20 player for Milwaukee this season, but he hit just .220/.299/.420 and frustrated with his inconsistency, even earning a demotion to the minors at one point. If the Brewers do wind up dealing Broxton, they could hand center field over to Lewis Brinson or use Brett Phillips as a placeholder until Brinson is deemed ready. Oct 13 - 3:27 PM

Keon Broxton stole his 20th base of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Cubs.

Broxton swiped second base after hitting a two-out single in the bottom of the fifth. He's the eighth player in MLB to reach 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases this season, joining Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Jose Altuve, Tommy Pham, Elvis Andrus, Wil Myers, and Brett Gardner.

Keon Broxton is out of the Brewers' lineup Wednesday versus Pittsburgh.

Broxton joins Ryan Braun on the bench. In his place, Brett Phillips will get the start in center field and hit seventh. On the year, Broxton is hitting .221/.298/.429 with 20 homers and 19 stolen bases.
Sep 13 - 5:31 PM

Keon Broxton went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs as the Brewers topped the Rockies on Sunday.

Broxton came through with a two-run single in the ninth inning that increased the Brewers' lead to 8-2. He also drew a walk and scored a pair of runs in the contest. One of the streakier hitters in the league, he's locked in and should be ridden in all formats until he cools off. On the season, he's hitting .231/.309/.467 with 20 homers, 47 RBI and 19 stolen bases.
Aug 20 - 7:17 PM

Keon Broxton went 2-for-4 with a homer Friday in a losing cause against the Rockies.

Both Broxton and Domingo Santana hit their 20th homers of the season for the Brewers tonight. Broxton has six in his last nine games, and he's hitting .292 in 48 at-bats since being recalled from the minors on Aug. 1.
Aug 19 - 12:35 AM

Keon Broxton hit two solo homers Wednesday in the Brewers' 7-6 comeback win over the Pirates.

The first solo shot got Milwaukee on the board in the bottom of the third inning and the second tied the game at 5-5. Broxton also homered as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday night and the 27-year-old outfielder now has 19 total homers in 107 games this season. He has also racked up 19 stolen bases.
Aug 16 - 5:37 PM

Keon Broxton, held out of the starting lineup for a second straight game, homered as a pinch-hitter Tuesday against the Pirates.

The Brewers played Jonathan Villar in center field tonight because they wanted to stack lefties against Ivan Nova. Broxton has been fine since rejoining the Brewers, hitting .250/.348/.525 in 40 at-bats. He'll continue to play center most days.
Aug 15 - 11:22 PM

Keon Broxton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Twins.

Broxton took Dietrich Enns deep for a solo shot in the second inning. He has gone yard in two of his last four games and is up to 16 dingers on the season. Despite this nice little bit of pop in the bat, Broxton is hitting just .222/.300/.437 in 102 games this season.
Aug 10 - 11:36 PM

Keon Broxton had a solo homer and an RBI double off the Twins' Ervin Santana in Monday's loss.

Broxton has started all seven games since returning from the minors and gone 6-for-22 with four walks and a couple of steals. With Lewis Brinson back in Triple-A, it certainly seems as through Broxton will be a lineup fixture.
Aug 8 - 12:47 AM

Keon Broxton singled in a run and walked in three plate appearances before being removed in a double-switch Thursday.

Broxton also robbed Jose Martinez of what might have been a homer with a fine jumping catch in center field. He's 3-for-9 with two walks in three games since being recalled to reclaim his spot as the Brewers' starting center fielder.
Aug 3 - 5:43 PM

Brewers recalled OF Keon Broxton from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

He's taking the spot of Kirk Nieuwenhuis, who was designated for assignment on Monday. Broxton is back after a brief detour in the minor leagues. He'll resume his role as Milwaukee's regular center fielder with Lewis Brinson coming off the bench. Before his demotion, Broxton was hitting .218 with 14 HR, 36 RBI and 17 steals over 293 at-bats for the Brew Crew.
Aug 1 - 4:35 PM

Brewers optioned OF Keon Broxton to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Broxton possesses a dazzling blend of power and speed, and has clubbed 14 home runs and swiped 17 bases this season, but he also owns a 124/27 K/BB ratio in 326 plate appearances and is mired in a 3-for-50 slump. The Brewers hope to get him back on track again before bringing him back for a potential pennant race.
Jul 22 - 1:07 PM

Keon Broxton clubbed a two-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Wednesday.

He went deep off starter Jayson Aquino with Domingo Santana aboard in the fourth inning. Broxton was brutally bad for the first two months of the season before turning things around in June. His season line still looks shaky but he should be OK moving forward. He has a .239 batting average with 14 home runs, 47 runs and 35 RBI. He's swiped 15 bags this season after stealing 23 in 75 games last year.
Jul 5 - 11:47 PM

Keon Broxton is not in the Brewers' lineup Thursday against the Reds.

It's a routine day off for the center fielder, who has had a hot month offensively with seven homers and 16 RBI since June 1. Utility man Hernan Perez will spell Broxton in center field and bat sixth against Reds righty Homer Bailey. Daily Slant: Even with a slightly watered down lineup, the Brewers are among the top overall stacks of the day against Homer Bailey. His first start went about as poorly as possible, but Bailey's limited 2016 data doesn't look much better and he's likely to get hit around some more as he re-acclimates to the big leagues. Travis Shaw is among the top overall bats of the day (.285 ISO vs. RHP), as is Ryan Braun. If you're hunting for value, Jonathan Villar and Jesus Aguilar are under-priced on a few DFS outlets.
Jun 29 - 4:42 PM

Keon Broxton clobbered another homer as part of a three-hit, three-RBI afternoon Sunday in the Brewers’ win over the Braves.

Broxton also stole his 13th base of the season. His home run was a 366-foot solo shot off Julio Teheran in the second inning. Broxton was struggling for a while but the threat of top prospect Lewis Brinson seems to have lit a fire under him. Seven of Broxton’s 13 homers this year have come over his last 15 games.
