Rangers transferred LHP Pedro Figueroa from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.

Figueroa is done for the season following Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery. Moving him to the 60-day DL opened up a 40-man roster spot for Scott Baker.

Pedro Figueroa has been diagnosed with a torn UCL and is likely to undergo Tommy John elbow surgery.

That was the diagnosis Thursday from Dr. Keith Meister. Figueroa has already been placed on the disabled list and is likely to be sidelined through early 2015.
