Orioles signed OF Logan Schafer to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Schafer batted just .238 with a .660 OPS in 74 plate appearances (26 games) this past season for the Twins and he owns a brutal .611 OPS for his career. He seems doubtful to crack the Orioles' Opening Day roster and should merely function as organizational outfield depth in 2017. Dec 1 - 11:28 AM
