Oramas was claimed off waivers from the Padres back in December, but the Blue Jays designated him for assignment over the weekend. The 24-year-old southpaw had a 4.75 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and 116/51 K/BB ratio in 136 1/3 innings last season between Double- and Triple-A. He's now free to seek an opportunity elsewhere.
