If the Dodgers backdate the move to Sunday, he might miss only a week of action. Of course, there's a good chance Thompson will need more time to recover. Updating a previous item, Trayce Thompson is dealing with lower back irritation.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said earlier on Friday that Thompson tweaked his side on a swing, but apparently it's his back. It's worth noting that he received treatment on his back earlier this year, so it appears to be a lingering issue. Either way, he's facing a potential trip to the disabled list.
