Michael Kohn has been diagnosed with a tear in his right biceps that is causing nerve damage.

Kohn will travel to the Mayo Clinic and it will presumably be determined there the best course of action for the injury. Either way, he's going to be on the shelf for several months. Kohn is in Twins camp as a non-roster invitee.

Michael Kohn left Wednesday's split-squad game against the Astros with an apparent injury.

Kohn has undergone both Tommy John surgery and rotator cuff surgery, but it's unclear whether this was an arm problem. The 31-year-old right-hander hasn't appeared in a game at the major league level since 2015. He's in Twins camp this spring as a non-roster invitee.
