Twins acquired INF-OF Michael Kvasnicka from the Astros for RHP Gonzalo Sanudo.
Kvasnicka went to the University of Minnesota, so this is a homecoming of sorts. The 33rd overall pick in 2010, he's hit just .245/.306/.374 so far in the minor leagues. Mon, Mar 25, 2013 02:01:00 PM

Astros agreed to terms with third baseman Michael Kvasnicka.

The 33rd pick of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft, Kvasnicka agreed to a bonus worth $936,000. He was a catcher during his time at the University of Minnesota, but the Astros plan to move him to third base. It's an interesting decision, as he was more valuable as a switch-hitting catcher.
