Gyorko is 5-for-27 in his last eight games, and he's hit for little power the last three weeks, driving in just four runs in 16 games. The Cardinals probably won't be going back to Jhonny Peralta at third base anytime soon, but there was never really any chance that Gyorko was going to remain one of the league's best hitters all year long.

Gyorko's surprising 30-homer season last year came with just a .243 average. This year, though, he's at .331 over 136 at-bats. There's no way he keeps that up, but he probably will make another run at 30 homers now that he's a regular.
