Rockies acquired RHPs Joe Gardner and Alex White, 1B-OF Matt McBride and a player to be named later from the Indians for RHP Ubaldo Jimenez.

Gardner, a 2009 third-round pick, has a 4.99 ERA over 19 starts with Double-A Akron this season, averaging 5.5 K/9 and 4.3 BB/9. Baseball America ranked the 23-year-old as the Indians' No. 9 prospect coming into the season. If he doesn't make it as a starter, his ground ball tendencies could be quite useful out of the bullpen in Colorado.
