Will Rhymes (arm) returned to the Rays' lineup Saturday.

He was available off the bench Friday, but will get the start against the right-handed Randall Delgado. Rhymes, of course, passed out on the field Wednesday after being hit by a pitch in the right arm, but X-rays ruled out any fracture. He's likely close to, if not 100 percent.

Will Rhymes (arm) is available off the bench Friday.

Rhymes didn't play Thursday after he was hit in the right arm by a pitch on Wednesday. He took swings in the cage Friday and felt fine, but the Rays may hold him out of action for another day as a precaution. Consider him day-to-day.

Will Rhymes (arm) is not in Thursday's lineup against the Red Sox.

Rhymes passed out on the field Wednesday night after being hit in the right arm by a pitch, but X-rays ruled out any fracture. Left-hander Felix Doubront is on the hill for the Red Sox on Thursday, so Rhymes likely would have sat even if he was 100 percent. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Will Rhymes collapsed on the field during Wednesday's game after he took first base following a hit-by-pitch.

It was a scary incident. Rhymes was in a ton of pain after getting hit by a pitch on his arm, but he took his base after being looked at by trainers. Then, just before the next batter stepped in, he fell down in a heap at first base. He eventually sat back up and was taken off in a cart by paramedics. We'll update his status when more is known.
