Charlie Culberson homered, doubled and scored three times in Tuesday's rout of the Blue Jays.
The homer wasn't a walkoff, so Culberson is trying to get it stricken from the record. No word yet on the results of his appeal. Jun 19 - 10:26 PM

Charlie Culberson went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Padres.

Culberson whacked a solo home run off Jordan Lyles to lead off the fifth inning. That would be the first run to score in the game and, it turns out, the only one. The pivotal dinger was just his third of the season. While the outfielder had his moment in the sun with that huge long ball on Saturday, his overall season output of a .269/.319/.426 batting line, the aforementioned three homers and 13 RBI in 45 games played does not move the fantasy needle.

Charlie Culberson ended up 3-for-4 with an RBI in Saturday's 5-3 road win against the Dodgers.

Culberson, who spent the past two seasons in the Dodgers organization, has posted 12 RBI through 39 games this season. It's his second highest total in parts of six major league campaigns so that tells you all you need to know about his fantasy appeal.

Charlie Culberson hit a pinch-hit walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to give the Braves a 4-2 victory over the Nationals on Sunday.

This is the second walk-off homer for Culberson in the span of a week, and both have come as a pinch-hitter. This one came with the game tied at 2-2, and it came off of Tanner Roark with one out to give the Braves a 4-2 win and a series victory over the Nationals. Culberson now has two homers on the season, and he's hitting .239/.299/.408 on the season over 34 games and 71 at-bats.

Pinch-hitter Charlie Culberson delivered a two-run homer off Seth Lugo in the bottom of the ninth to give the Braves a 4-3 win over the Mets in the first game of Monday's doubleheader.

Yeah, Charlie Culberson. He was only picked because the Braves had already gone through the rest of their short bench in the first game of the doubleheader. He was hitting .204/.271/.296 with two RBI in 54 at-bats this season before connecting on his first major league homer since 2016.

Braves acquired INF Charlie Culberson, 1B Adrian Gonzalez, LHP Scott Kazmir, RHP Brandon McCarthy and cash considerations from the Dodgers for OF Matt Kemp.

The 28-year-old is a defense-first type of utility player but could add valuable versatility to the Braves' bench. He's a career .231/.272/.324 hitter over 443 plate appearances in his big league career.

Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts indicated Sunday that Charlie Culberson could remain on the club's active roster for the World Series, even if Corey Seager is activated.

Seager is expected to return for the World Series, which would have seemingly squeezed Culberson off of the roster, but Roberts was impressed with the way that the utility infielder performed in the NLCS against the Cubs where he slashed .455/.417/.818 in his 11 at-bats.

Charlie Culberson went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored as the Dodgers dispatched of the Cubs in Game 2 of the NLCS on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

After the Cubs fell behind 1-0 in the fifth inning, Culberson led off the home half of the inning with a double off of Jon Lester. He advanced to third on a ground ball and scored on Justin Turner's game-tying two-out RBI single. Culberson was added to the roster for his defensive prowess, as a replacement for the injured Corey Seager, but has hit .400 with a run scored and an RBI through his first two games.

The Dodgers will stick with Charlie Culberson as the shortstop for Game 2 of the NLCS against the Cubs on Sunday.

The 28-year-old is a defense-first shortstop and offers virtually nothing at the plate. Here's how the full lineup shakes out against Jon Lester and the Cubs: Chris Taylor CF, Justin Turner 3B, Cody Bellinger 1B, Kike Hernandez LF, Logan Forsythe 2B, Austin Barnes C, Yasiel Puig RF, Culberson SS, Rich Hill SP.

Charlie Culberson is starting at shortstop and batting eighth for the Dodgers in Saturday's NLCS Game 1 against the Cubs.

Culberson went from being left off the Dodgers' NLDS roster to a potentially key player in this series after All-Star starting shortstop Corey Seager was omitted from the team's Championship Series roster due to a lower back strain. The 28-year-old has just 411 major league at-bats since 2012, and he hit .154/.267/.231 in 15 games this year. The rest of the lineup has yet to be announced by the club.

Dodgers added Charlie Culberson to their roster for the NLCS against the Cubs.

He'll add infield depth for the Dodgers as they try to overcome the loss of Corey Seager to a back injury. He shouldn't be used as much more than a defensive replacement.

Dodgers purchased the contract of INF Charlie Culberson from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Culberson has spent the entire 2017 season in Triple-A while batting .250/.299/.336 over 108 games. He'll provide some insurance in the middle infield.

Dodgers reassigned INF Charlie Culberson to minor league camp.

Culberson batted .250/.345/.333 over 20 games during Cactus League action. He'll provide minor league depth.

Dodgers sent INF Charlie Culberson outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The move removes the veteran infielder from the club's 40-man roster. As he just signed a one-year deal with the Dodgers worth $550,000, there's a decent chance he'll accept the assignment rather than sacrificing the guaranteed money and looking for a better opportunity elsewhere.

Dodgers recalled INF Charlie Culberson from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Culberson has batted .267/.290/.333 in 31 plate appearances this season at the major league level. The 27-year-old infielder carries no fantasy relevance.
