Red Sox claimed RHP Sandy Rosario off waivers from the Athletics.

It's been an interesting two months for Rosario, as he was claimed by the Red Sox, designated for assignment, outrighted, traded to the A's, designated for assignment again and then claimed again. So, as it turns out, the Sox received Graham Godfrey for Rosario via trade and then ended up getting Rosario back. Assuming he's not designated for assignment again, he'll compete for a bullpen job in spring training.

Athletics designated RHP Sandy Rosario for assignment.

Rosario was acquired from the Red Sox on Wednesday, but was released to clear room on the 40-man roster. He shouldn't have a problem finding a team willing to give him a shot at a bullpen job.
