Joel Carreno was reportedly struck in the head by a line drive Sunday in the Dominican Winter League.

The severity of the injury isn't yet known, but it sounds like Carreno may have suffered damage to his orbital bone and could require surgery. He'll almost certainly miss the remainder of the Winter League season and is questionable to be ready for the start of spring training.
