Louis Coleman (shoulder) returned to game action on Friday, picking up a victory over the Twins after retiring both hitters that he faced.
Coleman has now tossed three scoreless innings for the Royals this season, registering a 1.00 WHIP and 1/2 K/BB ratio. He's unlikely to be included on the postseason roster for the ALDS, but represents terrific organizational bullpen depth. Oct 3 - 8:58 AM

Louis Coleman is out indefinitely due to tightness in his right shoulder.

Coleman had to be lifted from Sunday's game with the injury. "It's in the back of the shoulder," Royals manager Ned Yost said. "It got tight on him and he couldn't loosen it up. So we'll give him some time." With so little time left, Coleman's season could be over.
