Audy Ciriaco - SS - Marlins

Tigers re-signed INF Audy Ciriaco to a minor league contract.

Ciriaco, 24, batted just .255/.281/.376 with five homers and 57 RBI in 467 plate appearances this season. He's doubtful to ever have an impact in the major leagues.

Audy Ciriaco - SS - Marlins

Tigers sent INF Audy Ciriaco outright to Double-A Erie.

He was cleared to make room for right-hander Enrique Gonzalez on the 40-man roster. The 27-year-old Ciriaco batted .238/.261/.414 with nine homers and 36 RBI between Double-A Erie and Triple-A Toledo last season. He's not much of a prospect at this point.

The Miami Herald reports that Olivo walked out on the Marlins after the team refused to grant his request for release. 1B	1	Logan Morrison Sidelined Logan Morrison (back) is expected to return to the Marlins' lineup Monday. Morrison has been sidelined since Tuesday with lower back stiffness. He returned from the 60-day DL last week and is batting .444 (4-for-9) over his first three games. Jun 16
	2	Casey Kotchman D.L. Marlins placed 1B Casey Kotchman on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain. Kotchman was due for a large dip in playing time anyway with starting first baseman Logan Morrison now back from the 60-day disabled list. Kotchman suffered the injury on Saturday and will probably be out three weeks. Jun 10

	2	Chris Valaika D.L. Chris Valaika underwent successful surgery on Friday, having two pins inserted into his wrist. Valaika is expected to require 4-6 weeks of healing time before he's able to return to the Marlins. He had been virtually ineffective in his 22 games before the injury, hitting .219/.261/.344 with one homer and nine RBI. May 10

	2	Austin Kearns D.L. Marlins transferred OF Austin Kearns to the restricted list. Kearns was already on the bereavement list, so it's just a procedural move to give him more time. Kyle Skipworth has taken Kearns' spot on the roster. May 12
	3	Matt Diaz D.L. Marlins placed OF Matt Diaz on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 19, with a left knee contusion. Diaz should be ready to return to the active roster as soon as he's eligible. The 35-year-old is batting just .167/.211/.222 in 10 games this season with the Marlins. May 20
CF	1	Chris Coghlan D.L. Chris Coghlan has been instructed to continue resting his ailing back after visiting with a specialist on Sunday. It's good news, as there had been a possibility that he could require surgery. However, there remains no timetable for Coghlan's return. Jun 17

	7	Alex Sanabia D.L. Marlins placed RHP Alex Sanabia on the 15-day disabled list with weakness in his right groin. Sanabia felt discomfort in his groin during Sunday's loss to the White Sox and had to be lifted after four innings. The exact severity of the groin issue is unclear at the moment. Nathan Eovaldi will take Sanabia's spot in the Marlins' starting rotation later this week. May 27
