Henn spent last season in the Korean Baseball Organization and hasn't appeared in the majors since 2009. He's merely organizational depth.

Henn hasn't appeared in the majors since 2009 and will join Dave Bush in signing with a Korean team. He posted a 3.64 ERA in 15 appearances at Triple-A Tacoma.

Mariners signed LHP Sean Henn to a minor league contract.

The deal includes an invite to spring training. Henn, 30, had a 2.79 ERA and 61/29 K/BB ratio over 61 1/3 innings as a reliever this season with the Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate. He hasn't appeared in the big leagues since 2009 as a member of the Orioles.

Henn, who was claimed from the Orioles last October, managed to pass through waivers this time. The 28-year-old allowed 12 runs in 14 1/3 innings between Baltimore and Minnesota last season and has a 7.56 ERA in 60 career major league appearances.

Henn spent time with both the Orioles and Twins this season, allowing 12 runs in 14 1/3 innings overall. He throws hard, but poor command makes the 28-year-old unlikely to be useful as more than a left-handed specialist.

Orioles purchased the contract of LHP Sean Henn from Triple-A Norfolk.

The O's acquired Henn from the Twins last night. Henn has yet to be even mediocre in the majors, posting a 7.50 ERA and 1.96 WHIP over 52 games in his career, including a 7.15 ERA in 14 appearances with the Twins this season. The 28-year-old had a 2.33 ERA in 28 appearances with Rochester this season. He could eventually settle in as a middle reliever or situational left-hander. Henn held left-handed hitters to a .164 batting average at the Triple-A level this year.

He's struggled during a couple of stints in the majors, but could enjoy a fine career as a middle reliever or situational left-hander. He held left-handed hitters to a .164 batting average at the Triple-A level this year.

Henn has a 7.50 ERA and 1.96 WHIP over 52 games in the majors. This includes a 7.15 ERA in 14 appearances with the Twins this season. Though he has struggled on the big league level, the 28-year-old southpaw had a 2.33 ERA in 28 appearances with Triple-A Rochester this season.

The Twins promoted Henn on May 19 and he proceeded to put up a 7.15 ERA in 14 games. He needs to work on his control.

Twins recalled LHP Sean Henn from Triple-A Rochester.

Henn had a 1.13 ERA and 32/10 K/BB ratio in 24 innings out of the Rochester bullpen. He'll work in middle relief for the Twins and could stick around for a while with a strong showing.

Padres claimed LHP Sean Henn off waivers from the Yankees.

New York designated Henn for assignment last week. He has an ugly 7.53 ERA in 57 1/3 big league innings, but has posted a 3.35 ERA and 134/57 K/BB ratio in 169 1/3 innings at Triple-A. As a 27-year-old lefty with so-so stuff and a decent track record, landing with the Padres is great news for Henn and increases his chances of carving out a career as a middle reliever.

Henn had been on the DL since the start of the year with left shoulder tendinitis. The 27-year-old allowed one earned run in 10 2/3 innings on his rehab assignment, but he was out of options and the Yankees decided against giving him another opportunity. Because he pitched so well in the minors and he's a lefty with a pulse, there's a good chance he'll be picked up.

Sean Henn (shoulder) threw two scoreless innings Tuesday in his first rehab appearance for Single-A Tampa.

Henn gave up two hits, spoiling the team's no-hit bid after Eric Hacker went seven innings without allowing one. Henn is out of options, so he'll eventually be placed on waivers. The Yankees will make the move whenever it is that they feel he'll have the best chance of making it through unclaimed.
