Red Sox activated OF Jason Repko from the 15-day disabled list, optioned him to Triple-A Pawtucket.

He had been sidelined for the last two months with a separated shoulder. Repko will represent depth at Triple-A.

Jason Repko (shoulder) joined Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday to continue his rehab assignment.

Repko played three rehab games at Single-A Greenville without incident. The 31-year-old outfielder should be activated from the disabled list at some point this week.

Jason Repko (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment Monday at Single-A Salem.

Repko has been on the disabled list since April 22 with a separated shoulder. He's likely to spend at least two weeks getting his timing right in the minor leagues.

Red Sox placed OF Jason Repko on the 15-day disabled list with a separated shoulder.

Repko was summoned from Triple-A last weekend and promptly added to Boston's hideous luck with outfield health. Boston fortified depth by trading for Marlon Byrd and promoting Lars Anderson. Repko is no lock to return to the roster when he returns to health.

Jason Repko sustained a ''slight'' shoulder separation in Friday's game against the Yankees.

This adds credence to Boston's reported interest in Marlon Byrd, as Repko's injury is likely to keep him out of the lineup. The Red Sox also don't have any in-house options at Pawtucket. Cody Ross is starting in center field Saturday.

Red Sox purchased the contract of OF Jason Repko from Triple-A Pawtucket.

Repko will replace Che-Hsuan Lin and is expected to start in center field Sunday. The veteran outfielder offers little in the way of upside, but should provide insurance behind Cody Ross, Darnell McDonald and Ryan Sweeney.

The Red Sox are expected to purchase the contract of Jason Repko from Triple-A Pawtucket on Sunday.

Repko has apparently overcome a minor injury that he had been dealing with and will replace Che-Hsuan Lin as the Red Sox's primary backup outfielder. But even if Repko does manage to find some at-bats, he can continue to be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Twins sent OF Jason Repko outright to Triple-A Rochester.

Repko batted .226/.270/.286 over 133 at-bats for Minnesota this season. The 30-year-old outfielder could wind up re-upping with the Twins but might also elect minor league free agency.

Repko is still dealing with concussion-related symptoms and the Twins only have a handful of games left to play. The outfielder batted .226/.270/.286 this season.

A CT scan of Jason Repko's revealed no significant problems.

Repko left Sunday's game in the sixth inning after being beaned in the head by a Justin Masterson fastball. He has a headache, but no concussion. Repko will probably get a few days off, but he wasn't playable in AL-only leagues anyway.

Repko looked a little out of it while he made his way back into the clubhouse, so a concussion is certainly possible. We'll update his status when more is known.

Twins activated OF Jason Repko from the 15-day disabled list.

He's taking the spot of the recently departed Jim Thome. Repko has been on the DL since mid-August with left shoulder bursitis but is good to go after picking up four hits -- including a home run -- in 14 rehab at-bats with Triple-A Rochester. He'll provide outfield depth.

Jason Repko (shoulder) is close to heading out on a rehab assignment.

Repko has only been on the DL for a little over a week, so he shouldn't need too many games before being ready. It seems likely he'll be available before the end of the month or perhaps when rosters expand on September 1.

Twins placed OF Jason Repko on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder bursitis.

The move was made to clear room on the 25-man roster for Justin Morneau, who came off the disabled list on Friday morning. Hitting just .245/.287/.265 this season, Repko will likely rejoin the Twins some time in September.
