White Sox recalled C Hector Sanchez from Triple-A Charlotte.
It's been a revolving door at catcher the last few days for Chicago with Alex Avila (hamstring) and Kevan Smith (back) both going down with injuries. Sanchez hasn't done much to warrant a promotion (.143 AVG this season) but he's the best the White Sox have right now aside from starter Dioner Navarro. Apr 26 - 4:22 PM

Giants general manager Bobby Evans said Monday that the club is interested in bringing Hector Sanchez back.

They non-tendered Sanchez last week, but they'd be interested in having him back at a lesser rate. Sanchez hit only .179/.207/.304 with a homer and five RBI across 56 at-bats for the Giants in 2015.

Hector Sanchez left Saturday's game against the Rockies with a leg injury.
