Stephen Vogt had the walking boot removed from his surgically-repaired right foot Thursday.
Vogt had surgery in October to repair the plantar plates in his foot. It's an injury he dealt with throughout the second half of the season and he noted Thursday that it's the first time since July he can put a shoe on his right foot and walk without any pain. Stephen Vogt underwent successful foot surgery on Tuesday.

Vogt had surgery to repair the plantar plates in his right foot, which he tore around midseason. He also had some scar tissue removed during the procedure. He'll need six-to-eight weeks to recover, which gives him plenty of time to be ready to go by spring training.
