Vincent has been sidelined since mid-June due to shoulder fatigue. He takes the place of Huston Street on the active roster.

It was his first since he went on the DL in mid-June with shoulder fatigue. Vincent will travel with the Padres on their upcoming road trip and appears close to being activated.

It's not clear at this point how long he'll be sidelined. Vincent holds a 5.67 ERA but a nice 32/6 K/BB ratio over 27 relief innings this season. Blaine Boyer has replaced him in the bullpen.
