Indians released RHP Jarrett Grube.

The Indians said that they released Grube (who had been pitching at Triple-A Columbus) to allow him to pursue other opportunities. This is sometimes the case when minor league players are considering a possible move to one of the Asian baseball leagues such as the KBO, but that is just one potential option remaining for Grube. The 34-year-old right-hander has just one major league appearance to his name. That came with the Angels in 2014.

Indians re-signed RHP Jarrett Grube to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Grube, 34, split last season between the Mexican League and Triple-A Columbus with the Indians, posting a 2.26 ERA and 68/19 K/BB ratio over 79 2/3 innings at the latter stop. He appeared in one game in the majors in 2014 with the Angels and is a long shot to crack the Indians' Opening Day roster.

Angels optioned RHP Jarrett Grube to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Grube was with the team for just two days, allowing a run on two hits in his 2/3 of an inning. He'll continue to serve as bullpen depth in the minor leagues.

Angels purchased the contract of RHP Jarrett Grube from Triple-A Salt Lake.

The 32-year-old right-hander was sporting a 3.52 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 51/18 K/BB ratio in 61 1/3 innings (11 starts) this year at Triple-A. He's not fantasy-relevant.

Angels signed RHP Jarrett Grube to a minor league contract.

It's not clear if the deal includes an invite to spring training. Grube, 31, posted a 6.16 ERA and 83/25 K/BB ratio in 92 innings last season between Double-A Arkansas and Triple-A Tacoma. He's strictly a depth signing.

Mariners re-signed RHP Jarrett Grube to a minor league contract.

He'll also get an invite to spring training. Grube, 30, posted 3.88 ERA and 120/38 K/BB ratio over 144 innings this season between Double-A Jackson and Triple-A Tacoma. He's unlikely to make an impact at the major league level.
