Delmonico got into a Kyle Hendricks offering in the sixth inning, missing a two-run homer by a few feet. The ball instead landed on the ivy and dropped softly at the base of the wall, allowing him to motor around for his first triple of the year. He scored the game-winning run later in the inning. The 25-year-old is hitting .231/.339/.317 in 33 games this year.
