Adonis Garcia went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's victory over the Mets.

The Braves were clinging to a one-run lead until Garcia broke things open with a three-run shot off of reliever Jerry Blevins. Atlanta wound up hanging on for a one-run victory. Garcia is sporting a .326 average with three homers over his last 20 games. He now has 14 longballs and 61 RBI on the season.

Adonis Garcia went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the Braves' win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Garcia did all of his damage on singles, driving in one run in the fourth and two in the sixth. The third baseman is finishing strong in September after slumping through much of June, July, and August. He holds a .724 OPS, 13 homers, and 58 RBI in 123 total games.

Adonis Garcia hit two home runs and scored the game-winning run in the 10th inning as the Braves edged the Phillies 6-4 on Saturday.

Garcia hit a pair of solo shots off Phillies starter Vince Velasquez, and in the eighth he had an RBI groundout to give him three RBI on the night. But it was after a walk in the 10th inning that Garcia came around to score his third run of the game and give the Braves a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The 31-year-old has acquitted himself well in his first full year in the majors, batting .274/.319/.420 with 13 homers, 50 RBI and 52 runs scored overall.

Adonis Garcia went 0-for-4 and committed his 17th error of the year Friday in the loss to the Giants.

Garcia hasn't been a disaster, what with his .263 average and .705 OPS, but he's not a reliable defender at third base and he's probably never going to have the bat to make up for it; he is 31, after all. One would think the Braves would give Rio Ruiz a look in his place next month. It might not be an upgrade, but there's nothing to lose.

Adonis Garcia went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and two runs scored in Saturday's lopsided win over the Cardinals.

Garcia hit the three-run jack, his ninth of the year, in the fifth inning off Cardinals starter Carlos Martinez. He also doubled in the game, giving him six doubles in his last nine games. The third baseman has carried over a strong month of July (in which he hit .337/.370/.537) and is enjoying August as well, going 6-for-19 with the homer, five RBI and four runs scored thus far this month. Garcia is hitting .272/.312/.410 overall.

Adonis Garcia went 2-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday's win over the Twins.

Garcia went deep off Twins starter Ervin Santana in the second inning for a solo shot. The third baseman is hitting .333 with three home runs, nine RBI and nine runs scored in the month of July. The good month has Garcia's overall line up to .264/.300/.389.

Adonis Garcia stroked two hits in four chances, adding an RBI and a run scored on Saturday.

He singled and scored in the first inning. He singled again in the third inning to drive in Freddie Freeman. The 31-year-old is playing most every day for the Braves but has not put up the kind of numbers to be a viable fantasy option. He is batting .257 with 7 home runs in 299 plate appearances.

Adonis Garcia went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Reds.

He also scored on a Jeff Francoeur double, tallying both of the Braves' runs on the night. The Braves' third baseman has been heating up of late with a .421 average over his last 10 games.

Adonis Garcia went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's win over the Mets.

The Braves held just a 1-0 lead heading into the eighth inning, but opened up some much-needed breathing room with a four-run frame. The big blow came courtesy of Garcia, who provided in the clutch when he launched a three-run homer off reliever Logan Verrett. For the season, the 31-year-old third baseman is slashing .253/.296/.356 with five homers and 21 RBI over 194 at-bats. He can be safely avoided for fantasy purposes.

Adonis Garcia hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to break a tie and lead the Braves to a 4-2 win over the Mets on Thursday.

Garcia got just enough of an Addison Reed pitch to clear the wall in left field for the game-winning dinger. It was his fourth of the year and his third in his last 10 games. He's hitting .389 with six RBI and six runs scored in that span, bringing his overall line up to .258/.304/.346.

Adonis Garcia (ankle) struck out as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday night against the Marlins.

Garcia hasn't started a game since injuring his left ankle last Thursday, but he would seem to be pretty close. The third baseman is slashing .258/.305/.331 with three homers and 14 RBI in 49 games this season.

Garcia hasn't played since tweaking his ankle while running the bases on Thursday afternoon. He could pinch-hit Saturday and Sunday, but the third baseman is still having issues with lateral movement.
