Diamondbacks purchased the contract of OF Tyler Graham from Triple-A Reno.

This is a transaction of need and not a deserved promotion. Graham is adding depth and capable of backing up all three outfield spots.

Tyler Graham - OF - Diamondbacks

Diamondbacks signed OF Tyler Graham to a minor league contract.

Graham was designated for assignment and eventually released by the Giants earlier this month. The 28-year-old owns a .281/.341/.361 batting line over parts of six seasons in the minors. He'll serve as organizational depth with Triple-A Reno.

Tyler Graham - OF - Diamondbacks

Giants designated OF Tyler Graham for assignment.

Graham, 28, was batting just .263/.300/.316 in 20 plate appearances for Triple-A Fresno. He seems likely to pass through waivers and return to the Fresno roster.

That will be two weeks after Hill was hoping to get the go-ahead to resume baseball activities, as his fractured hand is healing much slower than expected. CF	1	Adam Eaton D.L. Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers said Thursday that Adam Eaton will "probably" get a second opinion on his left elbow from Dr. James Andrews in the coming days. Eaton was recently pulled off his minor league rehab assignment due to renewed discomfort in his elbow. Towers said an MRI showed fluid around his ulnar collateral ligament, but no new damage was found. As of now, he's expected to rest for 2-3 weeks before restarting his rehab program, but he'll get Andrews' opinion just to be on the safe side. May 23

	6	Daniel Hudson D.L. Daniel Hudson (elbow) gave up two runs on five hits over four innings in an extended spring training game on Friday. It's the first time since last year's Tommy John surgery that Hudson has faced hitters wearing a different uniform. The D'Backs says the righty's fastball sat in the 91-93 mph range, which is obviously a good sign. "The light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little bit brighter now," Hudson said. Hudson will appear in another extended spring game next week and doesn't appear far off from a rehab assignment. He could be back as soon as late June if all goes well, though the big club doesn't currently have room for him in the rotation. May 19
