Matt den Dekker launched a pair of homers against his old team as a Marlins split-squad beat the Mets 7-5 on Sunday.

The first homer accounted for the only run Jacob de Grom allowed over the first five innings. Den Dekker is hitting .270 with four homers and two steals in 37 at-bats in his bid to make the Marlins as a reserve outfielder. He didn't seem to have much of a shot before the Martin Prado injury, but since that's opened up a spot, he might crack the roster now.
