Rougned Odor went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a two-run home run in Sunday's loss to the Angels.
Odor notched an RBI single in the third inning off Angels starter Andrew Heaney, then waited until the ninth to do further damage. At which point, he launched a two-run homer off Huston Street. The bomb was his eighth of the season and pushed his RBI total to 34. He's now homered in three of his last four games and is hitting .271/.339/.486. Since returning from a month-long stint in Triple-A after some early season troubles, he's been absolutely murdering the ball. Jul 26 - 7:25 PM

Rougned Odor went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in the Rangers' 7-6 win over the Angels on Saturday.

Odor opened the game's scoring with a solo shot off Angels starter Hector Santiago in the top of the first inning. He later doubled, drew a hit-by-pitch, and scored a run. The young second baseman has been on fire since returning in mid-June from a month-long stay at Triple-A.

Rougned Odor went 3-for-4 with four runs scored, finishing a double shy of the cycle in Wednesday afternoon's 10-8 win over the Rockies.

Odor homered off of Rockies starter Jorge De La Rosa in the second inning, then notched an RBI triple in the seventh. Sandwiched in-between those two hits, he also hit a single. No double would materialize out of the ether, but one of Odor's biggest contributions to the Rangers' win came when he drew a walk from John Axford to lead-off in the ninth inning with the game tied at 8-8 (classic Coors slugfest!). The Rangers would go on to score two runs in the frame and win by a score of 10-8. At just 21 years old, Odor's held his own against major league competition and is currently hitting .268/.336/.460 with six homers and 30 RBI over 198 at-bats. That line would look even better if he hadn't struggled out of the gate in April and May. He's been crushing the ball since being recalled from Triple-A in the middle of June and entered the game with a fantastic .328/.339/.609 triple-slash over 58 at-bats in July.
Jul 22 - 7:15 PM

Rougned Odor finished 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI in Saturday's 7-6 defeat of the Astros.

Odor hit an infield single in the first inning, a two-run shot in the third inning, and a triple in the ninth inning. He also had a big night Friday, going 3-for-5. The 21-year-old second baseman has been on a tear since returning from Triple-A in mid-June and looks capable of keeping it going throughout the second half.
Jul 18 - 11:11 PM

Rougned Odor had a nice night at the plate in Friday's loss to the Astros, going 3-for-5 with a triple.

All that he has done since returning from Triple-A is hammer the baseball, hitting .365 (31-for-85) with three homers, 15 RBI and four stolen bases in 24 games. The 21-year-old infielder looks like he has figured things out and is ready to succeed at the big league level.
Jul 17 - 11:30 PM

Rougned Odor continued his hot hitting in Sunday's loss to the Angels, going 1-for-4 with a homer and three RBI.

All of his damage came long after the outcome of the game had been decided. His two-run blast off Trevor Gott in the seventh inning closed the deficit to 12-5, and he added a sacrifice fly in the final frame. Since returning from Triple-A, he's hitting a blistering .365 (23-for-63) with three homers, 13 RBI and four stolen bases in 18 games.
Jul 5 - 10:19 PM

Rougned Odor is out of the Rangers' starting lineup on Wednesday due to a dental issue.

Odor had a dental procedure early Wednesday and wasn't able to eat. Hanser Alberto is starting at second base and leading off for the Rangers on Wednesday evening.
Jul 1 - 4:56 PM

Rougned Odor is absent from the Rangers' lineup Wednesday.

He's just getting a breather. Hanser Alberto is filling in at second base and in the leadoff spot for Odor.
Jul 1 - 2:52 PM

Rougned Odor went 3-for-5 at the plate in Sunday's loss to the Blue Jays.

One of the hits was a double to lead off the ninth inning, but Odor was stranded as the Rangers fell by one. The young infielder now has three three-hit games this month since being recalled and is batting .395 overall in June with four stolen bases. He shouldn't be unowned in your league at this point, but if he is, correct that situation now.
Jun 28 - 3:54 PM

Rougned Odor filled up the box score on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI in a 4-0 victory over the Blue Jays.

Odor plated the Rangers first run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and added a solo blast off Matt Boyd in the seventh. He also swiped a base in the contest. He has been on an absolute tear since returning from the minor leagues, hitting .364 (12-for-33) with two homers, nine RBI and three stolen bases.
Jun 27 - 4:51 PM

Rougned Odor went 3-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.

Odor was on the bench for two out of the three games in Chicago over the weekend, but something tells us Rangers manager Jeff Banister will stick with him at second going forward. The youngster is now 9-for-19 at the plate since returning from the minors, driving in seven runs over seven games.
Jun 23 - 11:36 PM

Rougned Odor went 3-for-3 with two RBI in his return to the majors Monday.

All three hits were singles. His two-run single in the sixth capped a four-run inning for the Rangers. Odor really struggled prior to his demotion last month, but he was tearing things up in Triple-A and has serious long-term potential. He's worth another shot in most mixed fantasy leagues.
Jun 15 - 11:45 PM

Rangers recalled INF Rougned Odor from Triple-A Round Rock.

The 21-year-old appears to have turned things around since his demotion to Triple-A, slashing .355/.430/.645 with five homers and 19 RBI in 29 games. He should see the bulk of playing time at second base for the Rangers and is worth a look in most mixed leagues.
Jun 14 - 8:21 PM

Rangers optioned 2B Rougned Odor to Triple-A Round Rock.

Odor was off to a horrible start this season for the Rangers, batting just .144/.252/.233 in 103 plate appearances. The hope was that he'd be ready to take a big step forward in 2015 after showing promise last season as a rookie, but he's only 21 years old so it's not like this is a death knell. Adam Rosales will serve as the Rangers' primary second baseman until Odor gets back on track.
May 11 - 2:58 PM

Rougned Odor is not in the Rangers' lineup Sunday.

It appears to be a matter of when, not if, Odor gets optioned to Triple-A at this point. He's now sat in favor of Adam Rosales five out of the last seven games. The 21-year-old is hitting just .144/.252/.233 and badly needs some time in the minors to iron things out.
