Rougned Odor went 3-for-5 at the plate in Sunday's loss to the Blue Jays.
One of the hits was a double to lead off the ninth inning, but Odor was stranded as the Rangers fell by one. The young infielder now has three three-hit games this month since being recalled and is batting .395 overall in June with four stolen bases. He shouldn't be unowned in your league at this point, but if he is, correct that situation now. Jun 28 - 3:54 PM

Rougned Odor filled up the box score on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI in a 4-0 victory over the Blue Jays.

Odor plated the Rangers first run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and added a solo blast off Matt Boyd in the seventh. He also swiped a base in the contest. He has been on an absolute tear since returning from the minor leagues, hitting .364 (12-for-33) with two homers, nine RBI and three stolen bases.

Rougned Odor went 3-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.

Odor was on the bench for two out of the three games in Chicago over the weekend, but something tells us Rangers manager Jeff Banister will stick with him at second going forward. The youngster is now 9-for-19 at the plate since returning from the minors, driving in seven runs over seven games.

Rougned Odor went 3-for-3 with two RBI in his return to the majors Monday.

All three hits were singles. His two-run single in the sixth capped a four-run inning for the Rangers. Odor really struggled prior to his demotion last month, but he was tearing things up in Triple-A and has serious long-term potential. He's worth another shot in most mixed fantasy leagues.

Rangers recalled INF Rougned Odor from Triple-A Round Rock.

The 21-year-old appears to have turned things around since his demotion to Triple-A, slashing .355/.430/.645 with five homers and 19 RBI in 29 games. He should see the bulk of playing time at second base for the Rangers and is worth a look in most mixed leagues.

Rangers optioned 2B Rougned Odor to Triple-A Round Rock.

Odor was off to a horrible start this season for the Rangers, batting just .144/.252/.233 in 103 plate appearances. The hope was that he'd be ready to take a big step forward in 2015 after showing promise last season as a rookie, but he's only 21 years old so it's not like this is a death knell. Adam Rosales will serve as the Rangers' primary second baseman until Odor gets back on track.

Rougned Odor is not in the Rangers' lineup Sunday.

It appears to be a matter of when, not if, Odor gets optioned to Triple-A at this point. He's now sat in favor of Adam Rosales five out of the last seven games. The 21-year-old is hitting just .144/.252/.233 and badly needs some time in the minors to iron things out.
May 10 - 10:07 AM

Rougned Odor is not in the Rangers' lineup Friday.

It's just a day of rest for the struggling youngster. Adam Rosales is at second base Friday in Odor's place.
May 8 - 3:30 PM

After sitting out Wednesday's game, Rougned Odor went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts on Thursday.

It's hardly surprising that the 21-year-old Odor has experienced growing pains, but a .144 average a month into the season just isn't very promising. He's still a fine bet for the long haul, but a stint in Triple-A is probably on the way. It probably would have happened already if the Rangers hadn't traded Luis Sardinas in the Yovani Gallardo deal. As is, they're probably looking at Tommy Field as the fallback to Odor.
May 7 - 11:16 PM

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman writes that Rougned Odor is a candidate for a demotion.

It's unclear whether Heyman is just speculating or has inside information, but it wouldn't be surprising if the possibility is on the table. The 21-year-old has struggled to the tune of a .146/.263/.244 batting line across his first 25 games this season. He was rushed to the majors out of need last year, so some more seasoning in the minors might not be the worst thing for him.
May 5 - 10:35 AM

Rougned Odor is not in the Rangers' lineup Monday.

It looks like a routine day off. Adam Rosales is at second base in Odor's place.
May 4 - 4:39 PM

Rougned Odor went 0-for-4 as the Rangers' No. 2 hitter in Wednesday's loss.

Odor has mostly hit in the bottom third of the order, but he's made three starts hitting first or second and gone 1-for-11 with a walk. He'd be a better bet in fantasy leagues if he could claim the two hole for himself, but that .147 average isn't getting it done.
Apr 29 - 11:26 PM

Rougned Odor went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Saturday, dropping his average to .158.

Odor's .158 average hardly stands out among Rangers regulars, so he's not in any danger of losing playing time. The team's offense certainly isn't great, but it can't be this bad, and Odor still projects as a contributor in mixed leagues.
Apr 19 - 1:13 AM

Rougned Odor filled the box score Tuesday, collecting an RBI double, stealing a base and scoring a run in a win over the Angels.

Promoted to the leadoff spot Tuesday, Odor responded by acting like a leadoff man. He led off the game with a walk, stole second base -- his first steal of the season -- and scored on a Mitch Moreland single. He then hit an RBI double in the second inning. It's been a slow start for Odor and the Rangers offense, but the 21-year-old is only getting better and should put up some helpful numbers if he can stick atop the lineup.
Apr 14 - 11:54 PM

Rougned Odor is batting leadoff for the Rangers on Tuesday night against the Angels.

Leonys Martin has been bumped down to the eighth spot. Odor owns a weak .299 on-base percentage in 122 career major league games, but he's only 21 years old and has shown a little bit of early improvement in that department this season. He obviously carries more fantasy potential at the top of the Texas lineup.
