Cloyd posted a 10.80 ERA in five relief appearances with the Fish earlier this year and has an only slightly better 6.55 ERA in two starts at Triple-A. It's unclear what role he'll hold while with the big club this time around.

The 30-year-old hasn't appeared in the big leagues since he was with the Phillies during the 2013 season. He posted a 1.10 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 14/0 K/BB ratio in 16 1/3 innings across four starts at Triple-A. He'll add a fresh arm as an option to go multiple innings out of the bullpen.

This confirms a report from Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish. Cloyd, 27, owns a 5.98 ERA over 17 starts and two relief appearances in the majors and spent the entire 2014 season with the Indians' Triple-A affiliate.
