The Philadelphia Daily News reports Cesar Hernandez has been demoted to Double-A Reading to get more reps in center field during the All-Star break.

Hernandez has been primarily a second baseman with Triple-A Lehigh Valley this season, but could be an option to replace Ben Revere (foot) in center field.
