Angels placed LHP Andrew Taylor on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 22, with a small tear in his left labrum.

It's not known at this point how long he'll be out. Taylor posted a 4.27 ERA and 56/25 K/BB ratio over 59 innings between Double- and Triple-A last season.

Taylor has been shut down indefinitely. The 26-year-old appeared in three games with the Angels last season as a September call-up after posting a 4.27 ERA and 56/25 K/BB ratio over 59 innings between Double- and Triple-A.

Angels purchased the contract of LHP Andrew Taylor from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Taylor, 26, has a career 4.01 ERA and will be making his major league debut if he enters a game. He'll provide left-handed bullpen depth.
