Blue Jays acquired RHP Arnold Leon from the Athletics for cash considerations.
Leon saw 26 2/3 innings (19 relief appearances) of work with the A's during the 2015 season. He allowed 14 runs in that space with a 19/9 K/BB ratio. The 28-year-old right-hander was designated for assignment just before the calendar flipped over to 2016. If he cracks the Opening Day roster, it would just be as a low-leverage arm. Barring a nice spring, he could open the season in the minors. Jan 5 - 2:25 PM
