Mets recalled RHP Hansel Robles from Triple-A Las Vegas.
He'll take the place of Jerry Blevins (arm) on the active roster. The 24-year-old has mostly pitched as a starter in the minors, posting a 3.11 ERA with 8.1 K/9 and 2.6 BB/9, but he'll pitch in middle relief during his first stint in the majors. Apr 21 - 8:43 AM

Hansel Robles will be called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday to join the Mets' bullpen.

He'll take the spot of left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins, who sustained a broken arm on Sunday. The 24-year-old Robles will work in middle or long relief and is doubtful to provide any fantasy value.

Mets optioned RHP Hansel Robles to Double-A Binghamton; reassigned RHPs Cody Satterwhite, Tyler Pill, and Matthew Bowman to minor league camp.

No surprises among these cuts. Robles, 24, is coming off a 4.31 ERA with a 106/43 K/BB ratio in 110 2/3 innings across 18 starts and 12 relief appearances in Double-A.

Mets purchased the contract of RHP Hansel Robles from Double-A Binghamton.

Robles was removed from the 40-man roster last winter but earned his way back on after posting a 4.31 ERA with 106 strikeouts over 110 2/3 frames at Binghamton. He's now protected from the Rule 5 Draft.

Mets sent RHP Hansel Robles outright to Triple-A Las Vegas.

The 23-year-old right-hander made 17 starts between the Gulf Coast League Mets and High-A St. Lucie, compiling a 3.78 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 66/29 K/BB ratio. The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Chris Young, who agreed to terms on Friday.

Mets purchased the contract of RHP Hansel Robles from Low-A Brooklyn.

Robles put up a 1.11 ERA while striking out nearly a batter per inning in 12 Low-A starts this season. He's obviously not big league-ready, but the Mets didn't want to leave him exposed to the Rule 5 Draft.
