Ramon Flores has elected free agency.
The 25-year-old had a terrific season at Triple-A Salt Lake, slashing .312/.409/.460 with 10 homers, 71 RBI and 12 swipes. He should have no trouble landing himself a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. Sat, Oct 21, 2017 01:18:00 PM

Angels designated OF Ramon Flores for assignment.

The 25-year-old's stay with the big league club was very brief, going 1-for-8 in his three games. He should pass through waivers unclaimed and continue to function as minor league outfield depth.

Angels recalled OF Ramon Flores from Triple-A Salt Lake.

The Angels had a roster opening after sending David Hernandez to the Diamondbacks at Monday's trade deadline and decided to use it on an outfielder with Kole Calhoun battling a hamstring injury. Flores will make his Angels debut in right field Tuesday against the Phillies. The 25-year-old has hit just .206 with two homers and 19 RBI over 281 big league at-bats.

Angels reassigned OF Ramon Flores to minor league camp.

Flores, who turns 25 on Sunday, signed a minor league deal with the Angels over the winter after appearing in 104 games with the Brewers last season while batting just .205/.294/.261 in 289 plate appearances. He's a depth piece for the Triple-A level.

Angels signed OF Ramon Flores to a minor league contract.

Flores spent the 2016 season plying his trade in the Brewers' organization. He received a fair chunk of at-bats with the big league club this past season, though not much came of them. In 289 plate appearances, the 24-year-old outfielder hit .205/.294/.261 with two homers, 19 RBI and three steals. The Angels have made a flurry of minor outfield moves of late, designating Shane Robinson and Rafael Ortega for assignment prior to their inking Flores to his minors contract.

Brewers sent OF Ramon Flores outright to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Flores was designated for assignment on August 19 and subsequently passed through waivers unclaimed. This season, he has hit just .205/.294/.261 over 289 plate appearances, but at 24 years old, shouldn't be considered a lost cause just yet.

Brewers designated OF Ramon Flores for assignment.

The 24-year-old struggled mightily this season, slashing .205/.294/.261 with a 58/31 K/BB ratio over 289 plate appearances. He's talented enough that there may be other squad's willing to take a chance on him.

Ramon Flores is starting in center field and batting seventh for the Brewers on Friday.

It's his third straight start in center. Flores is hitting just .161/.257/.161 so far this season.

Ramon Flores went 0-for-2 from the ninth spot in the lineup Monday against the Twins.

Flores played left field tonight and Kirk Nieuwenhuis was in center field with Ryan Braun DHing in the AL park in Minnesota. Flores seemed to be Brewers manager Craig Counsell's initial preference in center field, but that he was in left and batting behind Nieuwenhuis tonight wouldn't seem to bode well for him. It certainly doesn't help matters that he's 3-for-23 with no extra-base hits at the plate. Nieuwenhuis drove in a run tonight and is 4-for-15 with a homer overall.

Ramon Flores is starting in center field for the Brewers on Saturday.

He and Keon Broxton continue to share the load in center, though either could tilt the balances in their favor by showing any signs of life at the plate. Thus far, Flores is hitting just .200/.250/.200 with one RBI and a 5/1 K/BB ratio in 16 plate appearances.

Ramon Flores is starting in center field and batting sixth Tuesday against the Giants.

Keon Broxton drew the Opening Day start in center field on Monday and seems poised to eventually run away with the job, but Flores will also see some action in the interim. He isn't worth fantasy consideration.

Ramon Flores has been told that he's made the Brewers' Opening Day roster.

Flores has hit a middling .256/.326/.359 this spring, but he's out of options and the Brewers didn't want to risk losing him. He'll back up at all three outfield spots.

Ramon Flores (ankle) has been cleared for all drills in spring training.

He's finally done rehabbing after breaking his ankle back in August. Flores has been traded twice since making his big-league debut with the Yankees last season. He'll probably open the year with Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Brewers acquired OF Ramon Flores from the Mariners for 2B Luis Sardinas.

Flores' time with the Mariners turns out to be short lived. He joined the team at the end of July as part of the club's Dustin Ackley trade. The 23-year-old missed the final month-and-a-half of the 2015 campaign due to a compound ankle fracture.
