Ender Inciarte swiped a pair of bases in Tuesday's win over the Mets, becoming the first player in the big leagues this season to reach the 20-steal plateau.

The 27-year-old filled up the stat sheet in this one, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. He drove in the game's first run with an RBI single in the fourth inning, then tacked on another RBI knock during a six-run uprising in the sixth. He's now hitting .244/.302/.336 with four homers and 24 RBI to go with the aforementioned 20 stolen bases.

Ender Inciarte said after Sunday's game that he's a little sore but expects to play on Monday.

Inciarte collided with the outfield wall during the fourth inning of Sunday's game against the Marlins, but it sounds like he was lucky to have avoided any injuries. The 27-year-old speedster is hitting .268/.322/.377 with four homers, 19 RBI and 18 stolen bases on the year.

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

Inciarte had been mired in a little 2-for-18 slump entering action on Saturday, but he turned that frown upside down via three singles after the affair got underway. This was the outfielder's sixth game of at least three knocks this year. His batting line for the season writ large stands at a modest .272/.327/.383 in 43 games.
May 19 - 10:07 PM

Ender Inciarte went 2-for-4 with a homer on Sunday in a victory over the Marlins.

Inciarte's homer was a two-run shot off of Jose Urena that gave the Braves a 3-0 lead in the sixth inning. It's the third of the season for the 27-year-old outfielder, and his season line is now up to .272/.324/.377 through 38 games.
May 13 - 4:13 PM

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-5 with an RBI double, a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over the Marlins.

Inciarte and the Braves racked up 16 hits and nine runs against Caleb Smith and company. The steal was his NL-best 16th of the year after he set a career-high with 22 stolen bases last year. After a sluggish start, the 27-year-old is hitting .265/.313/.338 through 35 games.
May 10 - 11:45 PM

Ender Inciarte went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases in a win over the Rays on Wednesday.

He drove in the game's first run with a single in the second inning. The two steals give him 15 for the season and move him into a tie with Dee Gordon for the major league lead. He has a .253 batting average with 13 RBI and 19 runs scored.
May 9 - 11:21 PM

Ender Inciarte went 2-for-4 and swatted a two-run homer against the Mets on Wednesday.

Batting ninth behind the pitcher, he doubled and scored in the sixth inning, then topped that by taking reliever Paul Sewald deep with a runner aboard in the next frame. The blast was his first of the year. The center fielder has a .282 batting average with 11 RBI and 18 runs scored. He has 13 stolen bases already and is poised to demolish his career high of 22 bags that he set last season.
May 2 - 10:04 PM

Ender Inciarte will bat ninth again Tuesday against the Mets.

Meanwhile, Ozzie Albies will remain in the leadoff spot while Ronald Acuna, Jr. will hit second again. The arrangement worked well on Sunday, with Inciarte getting three hits, so the Braves could roll with this for a while.
May 1 - 3:01 PM

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in a 5-4 win over the Reds on Wednesday.

All three hits were singles, which is normal for the Braves' leadoff hitter -- only two of his 27 hits this year have gone for extra bases and both of those were doubles. His nine stolen bases trail league leader Trea Turner by one. Inciarte has a .276 batting average with eight RBI and 12 runs scored in 22 games.
Apr 25 - 10:26 PM

Ender Inciarte went 2-for-5 with a game-winning RBI drag bunt and a stolen base against the Mets on Saturday.

Inciarte played inconsistently for most of the game, picking up steal No. 7 on the year, while also committing a fielding error and once being caught stealing. All is forgiven, though, as he came through against Jeurys Familia via a drag bunt up the first base line to score Johan Camargo from third with the contest tied at 3-3 in the ninth inning. Game over, man. Consider it a mixed-bag performance with a happy ending. Inciarte has the speed for 20-plus steals this season, though he offers little in the way of power.
Apr 21 - 10:49 PM

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-5 on Tuesday to raise his average to .215.

Inciarte is the one hitter in the Braves lineup to disappoint this far, but that never figured to last for too long. One nice surprise is that he has five steals already, even though he's struggled to get on base. For all of his speed, Inciarte has never stolen more than 22 bases in a season.
Apr 17 - 11:21 PM

Ender Inciarte is not in the Braves' starting lineup for Saturday's showdown against the Cubs.

The 27-year-old is off to a slow start at the plate, hitting just .179/.242/.214 with a 12/5 K/BB ratio in 63 plate appearances. Peter Bourjos is starting in his place in center field and batting eighth against Jose Quintana and the Cubs.
Apr 14 - 11:04 AM

Ender Inciarte went 0-for-4 with a couple of strikeouts in Monday's loss to the Nationals.

The Braves have been crushing it offensively so far, but Inciarte hasn't been a big factor; he's hitting just .209 with three walks in 43 at-bats. He'll likely start hitting for average soon.
Apr 9 - 11:44 PM

Ender Inciarte had a single, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Rockies.

It's been a slow start to the season for Inciarte after his breakout 2017, as he's got hits in seven of nine games but is batting just .231/.279/.282 in that span. At least he's running, with the stolen base being his second in the first week-plus. His place atop the Braves' lineup is a prime spot for production, and it should be another good year for the 27-year-old, slow start notwithstanding.
