Ender Inciarte (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the disabled list next weekend.
Inciarte won't be ready to return from his right hamstring strain when his 15 days are up on Wednesday, but it will be just a few days after that. "I think it's probably going to be in the 18-20 days (range) after the injury," Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said. Jun 28 - 8:44 AM

Diamondbacks placed OF Ender Inciarte on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain.

It's not clear at this point how long Inciarte might be sidelined. The Diamondbacks will announce a corresponding roster move prior to Tuesday's game.
Jun 16 - 1:33 AM

Ender Inciarte left Monday's game versus the Angels in the first inning with an apparent right hamstring injury.

Inciarte tweaked the hamstring while running out a groundout. The Diamondbacks should provide more on his status after the game, but he was walking pretty gingerly so a disabled list stint could be in the offing.
Jun 15 - 10:17 PM

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Thursday's win over the Marlins.

Inciarte had RBI singles in the second and sixth innings. He also scored a run and struck out once. These kinds of games are becoming commonplace and are helping to boost his .308/.333/.403 line. With just five walks on the year, though, his value almost solely depends on hits, which is rarely a great sign.
May 21 - 3:32 PM

Ender Inciarte went 3-for-5 with three singles in Friday's loss to the Phillies.

Inciarte was getting on base at the top of the lineup, but the rest of his teammates (or the ones not named Paul Goldschmidt, anyway) weren't able to do much with his presence on base. In 2015, Inciarte is hitting .326/.350/.442. The only real trouble-sign here is that Inciarte has walked just four times this season.
May 15 - 10:22 PM

Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said Thursday that Ender Inciarte is going to be in the lineup "most every day now."

"The way he's played, he's forced his way in there," Hale added. The owner of a .405/.450/.568 batting line with six RBI and two stolen bases, Inciarte has settled into the leadoff spot the last two games, with A.J. Pollock moving down to the two-hole. Hale's commitment for the time being to Inciarte hurts David Peralta the most, as Peralta will now be the fourth outfielder rather than share time in left field. It could also mean a couple fewer starts for Pollock on days when Hale uses Inciarte in center.
Apr 17 - 8:44 AM

Ender Inciarte is out of the Diamondbacks' starting lineup on Tuesday versus the Padres.

Inciarte went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, and four RBI in Monday's victory, but he'll be on the bench Tuesday night against Padres right-hander Odrisamer Despaigne. David Peralta is playing left field.
Apr 14 - 5:33 PM

Ender Inciarte led the Diamondbacks to victory on Monday against the Padres, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, and four RBI.

Inciarte doubled in two runs in a four-run second inning for the D'Backs. He doubled and scored in the seventh, then tripled in another two runs in the eighth inning. Inciarte's hot start could be bad news for A.J. Pollock, as manager Chip Hale will want to keep Inciarte's bat in the lineup, at least for now. The 24-year-old is batting .393 (11-for-28) with six RBI. He has logged multiple hits in four of seven games.
Apr 14 - 1:38 AM

Ender Inciarte went 2-for-5 and delivered a game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th as the Diamondbacks edged the Dodgers 2-1 on Friday.

When the Diamondbacks named David Peralta their left fielder and cleanup man against right-handers late in the spring, it was unclear what role would be left for Inciarte. As it turned out, he's Peralta's platoonmate, even though he's a left-handed hitter himself. Inciarte, though, offers terrific defense to make up for what should be pretty mediocre offense against southpaws. He's not going to have much fantasy value at all.
Apr 11 - 12:57 AM

Ender Inciarte was terrific at the plate on Saturday against the Padres, recording three hits in three at-bats along with a walk and a stolen base.

Inciarte filled up the box score. He doubled and scored in the first inning, singled and stole a base before scoring in the second, and knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly in the sixth. The talented outfielder has registered 17 hits in 36 spring at-bats (.472) so far. Despite the great spring, the Diamondbacks' crowded outfield means Inciarte will function as a back-up.
Mar 21 - 7:28 PM

Ender Inciarte singled twice and scored twice in three at-bats in Sunday's Cactus League victory against the Giants.

Inciarte singled and scored in the first inning, and did the same in the fourth inning. The 24-year-old, who finished fifth in NL Rookie of the Year balloting last season, is competing with David Peralta for the starting job in left field. Inciarte is off to a good start, now with three hits in eight spring at-bats.
Mar 8 - 7:20 PM

Ender Inciarte went 4-for-6 with a double Friday against the Cardinals.

The Diamondbacks had 12 hits in all, but Inciarte's double was the only one to go for extra bases. He pushed his average up to .281 tonight, and while he offers little in the way of secondary skills offensively, his defense has been strong enough to make him a contender for the third spot on NL ROY ballots.

Ender Inciarte went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in a loss to the Twins on Tuesday.

Inciarte was the only member of his team with more than one hit, recording four of the team's 10 hits on the night. The four-hit game was his second of the season, raising his overall line to .276/.318/.356. With 17 steals and 53 runs scored in 399 at-bats, Inciarte should get a shot at a starting outfield spot with the Diamondbacks in spring.

Ender Inciarte finished 0-for-4 versus the Padres on Tuesday.

Inciarte was one of many Arizona hitters who couldn't solve Odrisamer Despaigne tonight. He came into the game on fire, batting .364 with five multi-hit games in his last eight. The outfielder is slashing .266/.306/.342 with 44 runs scored and 14 steals in his first 94 games.
Wed, Sep 3, 2014 12:54:00 AM

Ender Inciarte went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base against the Rockies on Sunday.

Inciarte made things happen from the outset, leading off the game with a walk, stealing second and scoring on an Aaron Hill single. The stolen base was his 13th of the year. The outfielder is hitting .267/.307/.344 with 44 runs scored in his first 92 games in the majors.
