Nationals signed LHP Braulio Lara to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Lara, who will turn 28 next month, held a 3.90 ERA over 25 relief appearances at Triple-A in the Giants organization in 2016 and also spent some time in Korea. He'll compete for a bullpen job in spring training but is a long shot to crack the Opening Day roster. Nov 20 - 10:09 AM
