Cardinals optioned INF Ty Kelly to Triple-A Memphis.
The 26-year-old had a chance to secure a bench spot on the team's Opening Day roster, but hit just .205/.319/.308 with three RBI in 39 spring at-bats. With his versatility, he should get an opportunity with the Cardinals at some point during the season. Apr 3 - 10:23 PM
