Adam Duvall launched a grand slam and had five RBI on the night in Tuesday's win over the Orioles.

Duvall came up with the bases loaded in each of the first two innings. He settled for a sacrifice fly in the first, but in the second he golfed a low Kevin Gausman offering over the left field wall. He also later added a double. Duvall now has four home runs and 12 RBI in the early going as he looks to follow up on his power breakout last season.
Apr 18 - 10:36 PM

Adam Duvall is absent from the Reds starting lineup for Saturday afternoon's matchup against the Brewers.

Scott Schebler is starting in right field and slides up to the cleanup spot with Duvall getting a breather. Scooter Gennett draws the start in left field and is batting sixth for the Reds against Zach Davies and the Brewers.
Apr 15 - 9:45 AM

Adam Duvall clubbed his third homer of the season and reached base three times on Tuesday versus the Pirates.

Duvall smashed a no-doubter over the left field wall off of Jameson Taillon in his first plate appearance in the second inning. He struck out in his next trip to the dish but then walked in the sixth and singled and scored in the eighth. Coming off a breakout 33-homer, 103-RBI season in 2016, Duvall has three dingers, seven RBI and a .367/.424/.733 batting line in his first eight games of 2017.
Apr 12 - 12:14 AM

Adam Duvall finished 3-for-4 with a homer, two runs scored, and two RBI in the Reds' 8-0 shellacking of the Cardinals on Sunday.

Duvall opened the game's scoring in the top of the second inning with a solo shot to left field off Cardinals starter Carlos Martinez before adding an RBI single off Martinez in the Reds' four-run sixth. The outfielder boasts a .348/.375/.696 batting line through six games this season, after putting up 33 homers and 103 RBI in 2016.
Apr 9 - 6:06 PM

Adam Duvall went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 7-4 win over the Phillies.

First home run of the season for Duvall. It was an impressive piece of hitting, too, as the slugger reached down to sock a low Adam Morgan pitch into the left field seats with one on and one out in the seventh inning. He cracked 33 home runs and notched 103 RBI across 150 games played last season. Even if he can't quite reach that lofty home run mark again, his power isn't going anywhere this season.
Apr 6 - 3:50 PM

Adam Duvall finished 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in the Reds' 9-3 victory over the Dodgers on Tuesday in Cactus League play.

Duvall hit an RBI single in the first inning, a solo homer in the fifth inning, and a two-run shot in the seventh inning. He's up to five home runs this spring, after delivering 33 homers and 103 RBI in 150 games last season for the Reds. The 28-year-old outfielder should again be a reliable source of power in 2017.
Mar 28 - 6:44 PM

Adam Duvall went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's rain-shortened Cactus League win over the Cubs.

Duvall opened the floodgates to a five-run fourth inning when he homered off Ryan Williams with one on and nobody out. He has now whacked a quartet of taters during spring play. This past season served as a breakout one for Duvall, who slashed .241/.297/.498 with 33 home runs and 103 RBI across 552 at-bats.
Mar 22 - 11:13 PM

Adam Duvall went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's split-squad Cactus League loss to the Giants.

Duvall went deep for a two-run shot against embattled veteran Matt Cain in the third inning. The dinger was his second of the spring, as was the double. While the 28-year-old outfielder struggled down the stretch a year ago, he still finished out with a .241/.297/.498 triple-slash to pair with 33 homers and 103 RBI collected over the course of 552 at-bats.
Mar 11 - 6:43 PM

Adam Duvall went 1-for-3 with his first home run of Cactus League play on Thursday versus the Athletics.

Duvall had a breakout season with the Reds last year, blasting 33 homers and driving in 103 runs with a .241/.297/.498 batting line. He cooled off down the stretch in his first full season of major league duty.
Mar 9 - 7:10 PM

Adam Duvall went 4-for-6 with a pair of homers and five RBI in Monday's blowout victory over the Cardinals.

He homered in the first inning, had an RBI single in the fourth, another homer in the fifth and another single in the seventh. The two-homer night was Duvall's third of the season and pushed his home run total for the year to 33, which trails only Nolan Arenado, Kris Bryant and Chris Carter in the National League. He also reached the 100-RBI mark Monday.

Adam Duvall is not in the Reds' lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

He's getting a break after going 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in the early game. Steve Selsky will take over in left field and bat sixth against Bucs starter Trevor Williams.

Adam Duvall went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Brewers.

Duvall's two-run double in the Reds' four-run third inning was the big blow, and the 28-year-old now has 27 doubles on the year. Of course, he's better known for his 30 home runs, which are still fifth-best in the National League, and his 89 RBI to boot. This year has been a coming out party for Duvall, who's hitting .242/.297/.505 in 133 games, and he'll be firmly on fantasy owners' radars come next spring.
Tue, Sep 13, 2016 09:54:00 PM

Adam Duvall clubbed a two-run homer for his 30th longball of the year in Tuesday's loss to the Mets.

Duvall's dinger to the opposite field off of Rafael Montero knotted things up in the third inning. He becomes the 20th player in baseball but just the fourth in the National League to reach the 30-homer plateau. That's not bad for a guy who we didn't even know would be starting going into spring training.

Adam Duvall is not in the Reds' lineup Sunday.

He's simply getting the day off. Jose Peraza is in left field. Tucker Barnhart is also sitting out, as Ramon Cabrera is doing the catching.
