Adam Duvall went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles versus the Brewers on Monday.
Duvall was hitting just .160 in 50 at-bats coming into this one. He's at risk of losing playing time after Scott Schebler returns this week, so it's imperative that he produce. Apr 16 - 11:00 PM

Adam Duvall went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Duvall took Cardinals de facto closer Bud Norris deep to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning, pulling the Reds to within one run. It was as close as they'd get. It's been a lot of feast or famine for the 29-year-old this year, even more than usual -- he's got three homers in 15 games, but also has 16 strikeouts and is hitting just .160/.218/.380 overall.

Adam Duvall went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts on Tuesday, dropping his average to .111.

Duvall is fortunate that Scott Schebler got hurt or he'd be in line to lose considerable playing time against right-handers. He definitely needs to heat up before Schebler returns if he's going to stay in the lineup.

Adam Duvall hit his second home run of the year in a loss to the Pirates on Thursday.

Duvall yanked a George Kontos offering over the boards in left field for a solo homer in the eighth inning. It was his only hit in four at-bats on the evening. The homer was his second in five games played, and all three of his hits have gone for extra bases. The flipside of that is, he only has three hits in 17 at-bats. With a four-man outfield rotation in full effect, it's hard to get too excited -- or too fully trust -- about any Reds outfielder at the moment.

Adam Duvall launched his third home run of the spring as the Reds fell to the Rangers on Monday night in Arlington.

Duvall's solo shot came off of Matt Bush in the sixth inning, pulling the Reds to within a run at 6-5, but that would be the extent of the scoring in the ballgame. Duvall finished the night 1-for-2 plus a walk and is hitting .271 with four homers and 12 RBI on the spring.
Mar 27 - 1:05 AM

Adam Duvall blasted his second homer of the spring in a loss to the Royals on Sunday in the Cactus League.

Duvall's homer was a two-run shot in the sixth inning against Eric Stout. Duvall's power is legit, and he plays in one of the most homer-friendly parks in the National League. If only he could cut the strikeouts down and draw more walks. Even still, if you're looking for power in your lineup, you can do a lot worse than Duvall.
Mar 4 - 6:00 PM

Adam Duvall cranked his first homer of the season in a loss to the Brewers on Tuesday in the Cactus League.

Duvall's two-run homer came in the fourth inning off Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff. The 29-year-old outfielder is coming off of back-to-back 30 homer seasons for the Reds, but he's hit just .245 in that time span with a whopping 334 strikeouts. The power is undeniable, but don't expect him to help in many -- or any -- other categories in 2018.
Feb 27 - 6:04 PM

Adam Duvall went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk in a loss to the Cubs on Saturday.

Unfortunately he didn't contribute to any runs as the Reds got shut out in the ballgame. Duvall has good numbers for the season but the vast majority of his production came before the All Star break. This is the second year in a row his performance has collapsed in the second half. Overall he has a .247 batting average with 31 home runs and 98 RBI in 156 games.

Adam Duvall is absent from the Reds' starting lineup on Saturday.

Just a regular day off for the 29-year-old slugger. Phillip Ervin is starting in left field while Scooter Gennett will slide into the cleanup spot in the Reds' lineup against Rafael Montero and the Mets on Saturday.

Adam Duvall went 2-for-4 with a two-run double and two runs scored in Friday’s 7-3 victory over the Pirates.

The double was part of a three-run first inning against Gerrit Cole. Duvall came into Friday’s action hitting just .205/.277/.432 during the second half. This was his first multi-hit game since August 19. He could lose out on some playing time down the stretch.

Adam Duvall is not in the Reds' lineup Thursday afternoon against the Mets.

Patrick Kivlehan will start in left field and bat seventh versus Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom. It looks to be a routine breather for Duvall.

Adam Duvall lifted a three-run home run in Tuesday's blowout win over the Mets.

It was his only hit in five trips to the plate, but Duvall's fantasy owners will certainly take it. Duvall has really piled up the strikeouts the last few games, but he's at least added a couple longballs in his last four contests.

Adam Duvall socked a solo homer Friday versus the Pirates.

Duvall has now reached the 30-homer mark for the second straight season. His OPS sits at .833, an improvement from his .795 OPS last year. Duvall has had better luck with balls in play this season, but he has also improved his contact rate.

Adam Duvall went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in a win over the Braves on Friday.

He swatted the first of three Reds longballs in the sixth inning off knuckle-baller R.A. Dickey. The two-run shot gave him 29 dingers and 85 RBI to go with a .260 batting average. He plated another run with a double-play grounder in the seventh inning but was not credited with an RBI for that one.

Adam Duvall delivered a pinch-hit, game-tying, two-run homer against the Cubs on Wednesday.

His blast off reliever Carl Edwards Jr. tied the game in the eighth inning, although the Cubs subsequently walked it off on a wild pitch in the ninth. Duvall has been in a slump of late but has been very productive overall on the season. He has a .262 batting average with 28 home runs and 83 RBI with six weeks to go.
