Adam Duvall clubbed his third home run of the season in Sunday's victory over the Padres.
Duvall appeared as a pinch-hitter in the ballgame and victimized Tim Stauffer in the fourth inning with a towering drive to left field. He has hit just .192/.234/.342 with five RBI in his limited time this season and is unlikely to be included on the Giants postseason roster. Sep 28 - 7:49 PM

Giants recalled 1B Adam Duvall from Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall has hit just .180/.231/.311 across 21 games at the big league level this season. He could see regular playing time at first base depending on the severity of Michael Morse's hip injury.

Giants recalled 1B Adam Duvall from Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall was optioned late last month after hitting .200/.220/.375 with a couple homers over 41 plate appearances. With Brandon Belt (concussion) back on the DL, he should see ample playing time at first base.

Giants optioned 1B Adam Duvall to Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall hit a two-run homer off Cliff Lee in his first game following his recall from Triple-A, but struggled after that. He was removed from the 25-man roster on Tuesday to open up a spot for Travis Ishikawa.
Jul 29 - 5:08 PM

In his first game since his recall, Adam Duvall went 2-for-5 and hit a two-run homer off Cliff Lee in the Giants' 7-4 victory over the Phillies on Monday.

Duvall mostly say behind Mike Morse in his first stint with the Giants last month, but now it looks like he'll be the primary first baseman until Brandon Belt returns from a concussion. Exactly how long that'll be is something we should have a better idea about in a few days, but he'll have some fantasy value until it happens.
Jul 21 - 11:20 PM

Giants recalled 1B Adam Duvall from Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall didn't do much in his first stint with the big-league club back in June, but the 25-year-old has registered a stellar .303/.361/.626 batting line with 26 home runs and 79 RBI in 78 games this season at the Triple-A level. He should get a good amount of playing time at first base while Brandon Belt recovers from a concussion and is worth a try in deeper mixed leagues.
Jul 21 - 11:54 AM

Giants optioned INF Adam Duvall to Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall hit a home run during his brief stay, but he had just three base knocks in 18 at-bats overall and made a crucial error on Thursday. The Giants will activate Brandon Belt (thumb) from the DL prior to Friday's game to take Duvall's spot on the roster.
Jul 3 - 7:21 PM

Giants recalled INF Adam Duvall from Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall is having a monster year at Fresno, sporting a .297/.360/.620 batting line with 23 homers and 67 RBI over 67 games. The 25-year-old will be making his major league debut when he gets into a game. He could see a few starts at first base while Angel Pagan (back) is out, pushing Mike Morse to left field.
Jun 25 - 2:33 PM

Giants third base prospect Adam Duvall went 1-for-5 with his 21st home run of the season on Sunday.

Duvall seems to be stuck in Triple-A, hitting a spectacular .294/.358/.628. Duvall has six home runs in June, and is only three behind the minor league lead of 21. He is blocked in San Francisco, but could be an option if there is an injury at either corner infield position.
Jun 16 - 7:53 AM

Giants prospect third baseman Adam Duvall went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk for Triple-A Fresno on Saturday, raising his season line to .299/.368/.647.

Duvall is leading the Triple-A Pacific Coast League in home runs with 19, but is stuck in Fresno with the suddenly-hot Pablo Sandoval entrenched at third base and Mike Morse taking the bulk of the playing time at first base. The 25-year old Duvall has progressed slowly through the Giants organization since being drafted in the 11th round in 2010 out of Louisville.
Jun 8 - 9:04 AM

Giants prospect 3B Adam Duvall had another big game on Sunday, going 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI for Triple-A Fresno.

The 25-year-old is off to a red-hot start this season in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, now batting .311/.380/.644 with five home runs and 16 RBI through 11 games. Last year Duvall endured a regression in the power department, hitting only 17 home runs at Double-A Richmond after belting 30 the previous year at High-A San Jose. While he lacks a clear path to playing time in the major leagues, Duvall could be called on at some point this season should Pablo Sandoval be forced to miss an extended period of time.
Apr 14 - 1:45 PM

Giants optioned INF Adam Duvall to Triple-A Fresno.

Duvall never really had a shot of making the Giants' Opening Day roster and will finish out the rest of spring training on the minor league side of camp. The 25-year-old corner infielder batted .252/.320/.465 with 17 home runs and 58 RBI in 105 games last season at Double-A Richmond.
Mar 12 - 4:20 PM

Giants purchased the contract of 3B Adam Duvall from Double-A Richmond.

He's now protected from the Rule 5 Draft. After slugging 30 homers at High-A in 2012, Duvall batted .252/.320/.465 with 17 bombs at Double-A in 2013. He could start next season at Triple-A.
