Rangers prospect 2B Chris Bostick was 3-for-4 with a home run, stolen base and two RBI Thursday for High-A Myrtle Beach.
Bostick, who was acquired from the A's during the offseason, got off to a dreadful start this season at Myrtle Beach, batting just .149 through his first 12 games. Since then, the 21-year-old has been one of the hottest hitters in the minor leagues, with a .415/.457/.756 batting line, eight extra-base hits and 12 RBI in his last 10 games, including six multi-hit performances. In his full-season debut last year, Bostick posted an .806 OPS with 25 doubles, 14 home runs, 89 RBI and 25 stolen bases in 129 games for Low-A Beloit.
