Odrisamer Despaigne picked up his first career save with a flawless ninth inning Sunday against the Rockies.
Brad Ziegler needed a day off after working Friday and Saturday, but it was a surprise that Despaigne, who had spent most of this year in the minors, was the choice to replace him. It was just his fifth relief appearance as a Marlin and the second in which he came into a game with a lead (the first was a 7-0 game). It worked out fine, obviously. Aug 13 - 6:05 PM
