The Marlins will consider adding a right-handed bat at first base to platoon with Justin Bour.
Though the Marlins remain committed to Bour at first base, they'd like him to get in better shape. Bour himself admitted he needs to get "more toned." Aside from his conditioning, Bour was completely inept against left-handed hitting last year, batting a dismal .221 with no homers and 22 strikeouts in 68 at-bats. Thankfully for fantasy owners he did a nice job against right-handers, slashing .270/.326/.519 with 23 homers and 64 RBI. Sat, Nov 14, 2015 11:34:00 PM
