Hermida is at least putting himself in the conversation for a bench spot with his hitting this spring, as he's now batting .316 with three home runs. He hasn't done anything noteworthy at the major league level in two years, though, and batted just .190/.288/.362 in 66 plate appearances last season for the Padres and Reds.
