Willson Contreras (forearm) is expected to be ready for Game 4 of the NLCS on Wednesday.
Contreras made an early exit from Tuesday's Game 3 loss to the Dodgers after taking a Mike Montgomery pitch off his forearm in the top of the eighth inning. Barring significant overnight swelling, the 25-year-old catcher should be near the heart of the Cubs' order on Wednesday with the season on the line. Los Angeles leads 3-0 in the best-of-seven National League Championship Series. Oct 18 - 8:54 AM

Willson Contreras finished 1-for-4 with a double in his return from suspension Tuesday versus the Rays.

Willson Contreras was ejected from Friday's game versus the Cardinals following an argument with home plate umpire Jordan Baker.

Baker missed what should have been a called strike three on Carlos Martinez in the top of the fifth inning. Martinez then singled in a run on the next pitch, promptly an eruption first from John Lackey and then from Contreras. The Cubs' catcher slammed down his mask, and it bounced up and hit Baker's leg, which could result in a suspension for the Contreras. He had a single in two plate appearances before being ejected.
